Champions League Quarter Finals 2020/21 - Apr 6/7 & 13/14

PSG pummeled bayern in the first half. This is some bizzarro opposite day tie

Also i now kinda want messi to go to psg and mbappé to stay just to see those 3 together. They might bring about world peace or something
I think WW3 would be more realistic.

Paredes with two of the best playing out under huge pressure moments in almost the same sequence you're likely to see.

Neuer and Hernandez have probably been Bayern's best players.
The entire front line of PSG has been a joy to watch.

He’s surprised me. These two ties are the first time I’ve watched him since he was at Stoke, but I don’t remember him being anything noteworthy back then, but he looks decent now.
He had a completely nothing season aside from a brace against us.

Genuinely hate when people do this. He's been by far the best player in this half, creating chances and opportunities...them not resulting in goals doesn't make it awful. It creates an environment in which risk takers are criticized for actually doing something.
Neymar almost scored a Puskás worthy goal, a pity it hit the bar.

Look at the difference just having Paredes back made for PSG. Much better at beating bayern's pressure and as a result psg were much the better team here as opposed to having to scramble to deal with a military invasion of their box every 10 seconds

Mbappe is amazing as is neymar this game.... psg playing really well. If neymar didn't dive and milk fouls so much he'd be so, so likable

Mbappe and Neymar has been amazing
but I saw some very lazy defending from Boeteng in the first half. In that Mbappe wrong offside call he was really pushing his luck with the offside trap. He stood almost exactly on the halfway line. Also didn't track Neymar for the last chance that hit the post.

Great game but Choupo superstar on the other side makes the difference so far.

Take a deep breath, maybe 10, and realise that I’m criticising him for his finishing rather than his general play, which has been lovely.

I'd rather Hargreaves was doing it, at least he knows what he is talking about.
I don't say this often if ever but I would even prefer McManaman. Keown has to follow every stupid comment he makes with a question.

"Neymar hit the post there, didn't he?" So annoying.

Boateng with a crucial ball against Neymar, but may well be limping off soon.

Best commentators have always been and will always be radio commentators. You wouldn't get away with bullshit commentary there.

Sane gives me that Dele Alli too cocky for his own good impression. Also sports a similar cnutish look.

One great bonus about hanging around in the Caf for a non-english like me is to improve my English, it's good fun. What does "cnutish look" mean?

PSG kinda getting screwed the chances are falling to neymar instead of mbappé

Am I the only who thinks Hernandez has been amazing with his ball playing today? Superb stuff.

I have seen people claiming that Kimmich is the World's best CM...not on this evidence anyway.

It must be really annoying being a striker playing against Neuer. It’s basically like having another CB to contend with. He keeps so much out with his style of sweeping.

I'm gonna need a full pack of cigarettes by the end of this

I wish you hadn’t posted that. It’s all I can hear now
