Champions League Quarter Finals 2020/21 - Apr 6/7 & 13/14

A relatively poor Madrid side showing the absolute technical chasm between English and Spanish football here. Amazing how a Liverpool team with a great coach, who are one of the technically best in the PL, can look so generally poor on the ball against a mediocre Spanish side.

Liverpool having been shite this year. So it doesn't really say anything other than Liverpool have been shite this year

Everything about that goal was just brilliant. Class goal.

Unfortunately he's kissing the badge, but I'd have loved Vinicius here as part of some sort of deal for Pogba. Think he's exactly what we need to compliment our other attackers. Flair, 1v1 dribbling ability and endless off-ball work. Frustrating at times too, of course...reminds me of Nani in some ways.

Can again

Kroos what a pass... fantastic midfield play.. pure joy.
Piles got caught again.. i hoped that shot knocked the mustache off Alisson ..;).

Is Liverpool playing today? 0 shots in 30 minutes. Are they afraid of Real Madrid?

That’s a harsh pen

I hate Madrid but need Liverpool gone.

The thought of a Liverpool vs City final, with Liverpool probably getting 7 is sickening. Wish we'd had a draw where at least one would be gone before the final.

You just know if they go into the 2nd leg trailing it'll be another "magical European night at Anfield "

That’s the worst penalty given I’ve ever seen. Admittedly before I’ve seen many replays.

Not screening well enough and not putting pressure on the ball and not being able to progress it either. No idea what the hell the game plan was but at the minute they’re doing nothing

Where the feck have they got this red from?

Surely has to be booked for diving to Rodrigo? Absolutely shocking penalty decision. Don’t know how that has taken so long.
