Champions League Round of 16 (12th Feb - 13th Mar)

Yeah that’s what I mean. They aren’t even attempting to hit them on the break. If they were, then I would say their set up was correct, but they’re strictly trying to contain Juve, not get something here.

As I type this Ronaldo comes metres away from scoring another header. See what I mean? This approach is just asking to get knocked out. You can’t just rely on keeping this Juventus team out.

Fair play. They definitely should be countering harder when one goal gets them through.

Think Bernardeschi is a cracking player, seems to usually be under the radar when it comes to big names in world football but I'm usually always impressed the odd times I watch him and ... only 25 ! He seems like a juve old guard at times

Juventus have been very good . arguably should be 2-0 . The chiellini goal should've stood .

What a match so far. Two fantastic teams being spoiled by shit refereeing

The referee has been decent compared to what we saw at OT against PSG.

Anyway, Atleti will grow into the game as Juve will tire eventually - they'll get the away goal and go through.

Atletico is rather uninterested in attack or even in crossing and I think it's pretty clear Juve will win this match. it's only a matter of whether they'll concede or not. Simeone will have a lot to answer for if they go out tonight without firing a bullet.

City - Schalke as expected. it will be 6 or 7 as I predicted.

The weird thing is that they don't have to play this way, they have a really good side with some great players. It's not like they are Stoke. They could definitely score more goals if they just took some more risks.

And lose some of their defensive strength? Why do all teams have to play the same way? When I watch Atletico this is what I come to see. Gonna be a brilliant second half.

Poor old June. Still, might not be the first time she’s taken on 11 guys at once on her own.

Classic old lady.

Should be 2-0 but nonetheless in a must win game their is no other player I would want in my team then Ronaldo the guy is an animal his mentality is second to none.

Big second half coming up I reckon if Juve dont score early then I think Atleti will shut it out.

With the renowned choking prowess of both Juve and Atletico in CL, I'm conflicted to what will happen in 2nd half.

Atlético so annoying. They just want to sit back all game long.

No I don't mean completely change their style but they have enough quality in midfield and up front to be more of a threat instead of just sitting with 10 on the edge of the area. Some of their attackers are ruined playing there and Koke and Saul are a hell of a lot more than just destroying midfielders.

whats the point of mandzukic if you got Ronaldo? I don't understand.. he's not doing anything extra .

Morata looked good in the first leg to be fair. Not been given any sort of a chance today due to how Atletico are playing.
Well he had a header from 5 yards out on the stroke of halftime. Went not far over but should’ve buried it.

Add an extra body in the box to create more space for Ronaldo.
