Champions League Round of 16 (14th Feb - 15th Mar)

Monaco probably have like 8/9 different players worth £50m that the rest of Europe will be after. Wonder how many leave this summer.

Not necessary to look elsewhere than Monaco this summer, just hit up Mendes and tell him we have £150m to burn and we'll have our pick amongst the Monaco lot. He'll jizz himself into a frenzy and facilitate it all.

Saul scored
Griezmann scored
Silva plays amazing
Fabinho is playing very well.

All our targets are doing well.

Also put £1 at 80/1 on Falcao to score, Fernandinho to be booked, 5+ corners and Monaco to receive 40+ booking points. About half way there..

To me it's a yellow card for Aguero. The ref was perfect. Aguero always does that movement. I remember he once explained to the media that if you let the leg down and the keeper touches you, 90% of times the ref gives a penalty.

Lets take Falcao back.

Kidding. But I'm glad he's doing all right.

City tho, maybe they should buy another couple of CBs, they will make it right eventually.

Falcao looks about 5 years younger than he did in the EPL, and very lean, looks a different player.

Pep Guardiola will retire from club management by 2020.

There was no pen on Aguero, he dived over keeper's hands. Great decision by the ref.

What on earth will City fans who claimed he was the messiah, do when Pep wins sweet FA

Swear I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't rate David Silva & hasn't since like 2012.

Monaco are so good to watch. Haven't been this entertained by an attackig performance in ages.

Yep, people really should not judge a league they have no knowledge about.

PSG still have never been past the quarter finals of the CL, last year Monaco were knocked out before the group stages and Lyon finished bottom of their group.

The French League might have a great year this season but it was safe to say it wasn't a league of note at the very top level last season.

Maybe it's better for Pep to go out in the last 16. That way he wouldn't get embarrassed in the SF.. Again.

Check the replays, keeper hit his legs clearly, was that you guys at OT there'd be 82000 posts about it, and check the replay Sterling was onside. No doubt Monaco deserve the lead but it was a penalty.
Keeper plays the ball perfectly. Aguero dives into/over him. Not a pen.

What else can the keeper do? Aguero tries to play the ball anywhere ( he wouldn't have got it where he played it) and anticipated the foul. The keepers toes play the ball. It's a perfect tackle. Whether he anticipated it perfectly or fluked it doesn't matter.

Bakayoko is one hell of a unit. City's defence is flakey to say the least.
Hope Monaco put them to the sword in the second half.

It is one of the most common discussions on here.
To a certain extent yes but several posters on here think Ligue 1 is on the same level as the Eredivise & it's near blasphemous to compare it to the Premier League.

Monaco are really missing Jemerson though.

That's quite odd ha.

I've been trying to watch as many Monaco games as possible this season and this guy really stands out.

Him and Fabinho absolutely dominated the Spurs midfield a few weeks back.

Bakayoko so good. Watch him destroy City in a few weeks.

Such a physical specimen

I hate to say I told you so.

We need to be raiding Monaco this Summer before anyone else does. One of Baka and Fabinho and Mendy please. Mbappe will stay

""Can't understand tits saying it's not a penalty. If they keeper comes out flying out like that he HAS TO GET THE BALL not get a tiny barely seeable touch on it and take the man clean out ffs""

From bluemoon

eh? isnt that getting the ball?
