Champions League Semi Finals (30th April - 8th May)

Barca seemed way too cocky, they got what they deserved,a crushing defeat.
Impressive by Liverpool, they are favorites for the final imo.

We are so far behind this level. With all the problems we have from top to bottom, its gonna take years to get there.
Depressing stuff.

186 million.

So that's a Pogba (89) Matic (40) and Fred (52) and 5 million.

feck me the difference between us and them on and off the field is staggering.
I seem to remember Shaqiri and Mane weren't good enough for United.

Aren’t they currently 15 points in front of your lot?
When we piss away a 3-0 lead against a side missing 3 of its 5 best players we can follow them into the trash compactor, where they belong :D

Though it took a last min own goal to beat them at anfield...

Klopps final record is the only hope we have
True, but if any team is good for an own goal in the final it's Tottenham.

Really? You win by working hard. It's not rocket science.

There's working hard and there's almost sub human levels of sprinting and running.
Pep and klopp are doing something very different to almost every other team fitness wise

Barca are even more embarrassing than PSG.
At least PSG took 3 years to get Remontada'd twice, Barca did it in two consecutive years.

Well, the 6-1 or was it 6-2 win wasn't a clean one to begin with. The consecutive 4-0 are clean, absolutely clean.

Holy cow, Alisson was in both of those. Just realized this.

Our best bet is ajax. And that the final is in June easing down any momentum pool are smashing from tonight

Yes he is no bargain, but they have got a lot of those. If you buy some players for cheap you can then spend more to get top quality players in. We spend a lot on average players so we don't afford to spend big on top quality.

Well! He was a bargain by the looks of it. Transformed Liverpool into what they are now. Final piece in the puzzle.

Their squad is very good yes, but Klopp is overacheiving with this team. Hate to say it but he is a extremely talented coach.

Not sure about overachieving. I think the only place they could actually improve is perhaps adding someone more creative in midfield, but I am not sure how else they could make their first team better. I think they could definitely improve their depth, but they would be almost unbeatable if they do.

Van Dijk - arguably the best cb in the world
Alexander-Arnold - I think he is the best rb this season. Can't think of anyone else.
Roberston - Again, arguably the best lb this season.

Alisson - Don't think you can get a better goalkeeper.

Salah - One of the best wingers in the world.
Mane - One of the best wingers in the world.
Firmino - Quality player

Maybe, but I'm always a believer of whoever goes through the tie has the best chance of winning it.
If Tottenham turn the result around against Ajax, it just means Ajax wouldn't be good enough to stop Liverpool.

I believe Klopp makes Salah and Mane look much better than what they actually are with his tactics. Especally Salah. Klopp is definitely overachieving

It would be hilarious if Barça scores first after all the big talk about Liverpool scoring 2 in the first 25 minutes and running-pressing like demons, the terror of Anfield and blah blah blah...
Oh shit :lol::lol:

See the positives.. mes que in bullshit shown their place!

Credit to Liverpool, great comeback from first leg and a triumph of the team over the individual. Liverpool like a wounded animal after the City result yesterday.

Hopefully will serve as a big warning to Ajax tomorrow night. They kept their level though winning 4 0 in Dutch cup final.

Wondering if resting on the weekend with La liga wrapped up hurt Barcelona too easy for them. Messi / Suarez are done at the very top level, surely, after the last two seasons CL disasters. Barca need a coach who will put the team first again.

Will Klopp finally snap his run in finals?

Ridiculous, I hate football and all that but I acknowledge quality and class, Liverpool were magnificent tonight.

I didn’t see the game but to beat Barcelona 4-0 with one of your best players out you can only admire them.

They made the right choice with their manager and their recruitment has been beyond quality. They are matching City with their billions and Pep in charge and made a Barcelona team with Messi look woeful.

We can all sit here as United fan hoping they will lose but that is going to achieve nothing. Focus on what we need to do now, that’s all we can do and hopefully we don’t make another Sanchez and Fred feck up in the transfer window.

You know, sometimes I don't give a shit about the 'rivalry', sometimes you just have to say respect.

Fully deserved victory. Still hope they lose in the final though of course!

Anyway, huge congratulations to Liverpool, that was something else.

Well, now we need Tottenham or Ajax to do us a massive favour.

Side note, whomever is in charge of our transfer policy wants taking out behind the stadium and shooting.

God, its nights like these I hate football.

Barca were awful, to concede a goal like the winner at this level is shocking.

I hate them as much as anyone but credit where credits due, just hope Ajax/Spurs do them in the final but the way this season has gone for them City will probably blow it on Sunday.

I shudder at the thought.

At least when they win the final most of their fans will be able to do 6 times on one hand.

God i fecking hate them. and yes it is mostly jealously, but i just cant stand to live in a world where Liverpool are successful. The media will never let it go, it'll be every time theres a match on the scouse packed punditry team will be there ******* in their pants for the next 10 fecking years.

meanwhile bin dipping feckwits are laughing at us and how far we've fallen while they turn the clock back to the 80's

This is absolutely the worst feeling i've ever had in football.

Without help of the ref La Liga Teams are just average!

Funny that the ref even missed giving Liverpool a clear pen. My Liverpool biased friends wanted two pens too and a crazy baised premier league ref could have given them 3.

Something Ive noticed when I watch liverpool is that Matip does all the heavy work in defense while van Dijk would rather zone. its the same way mane does all the work in attack and somehow salah ends up at the back of chances. If salah had played today Liverpool wouldn't have gone through. Just some observations I guess.
