Champions League Semi Finals (30th April - 8th May)

As funny it may sounds Spurs are a better match for the scousers. Ajax had a better chance against Barcelona, they wouldn't handle the intensity of Liverpool. Spurs will know how to face them and can be cynical if needed.

The big question is Harry Kane is going to make it?

I am unashamedly knee jerk on here when it comes to Spurs.

I wish we'd not waited till being 3 down to play .. actually no I don't that's one of my best moments as a football fan. Absolutely fecking incredible.
 
English teams are dominating Europe and it will only increase. The TV rights will explode, more and more people are watching this league
 
We really should have two finals in IMO.

One for Barca vs Ajex - Battle of Bottlers

Two for Klopp vs Poch - Battle of Bottlers.

Number 6 for .......Don't wanna say it.
 
Good thing about Spurs is they took on the intensity of City to dump them out and probably are best equipped looking back at everything.

Thought Ajax could do the job but both games they go missing after 45 along with a simple change for Spurs.

Amazing effort from Ajax all season.

Sad that the team will be broke up now.

For me they are the story of the CL and the best run club in Europe with the resources they have.
 
Better than yesterday for me. But probably the most two dramatic days of football I’ve ever seen.

Will Kane have a chance? Not even from a 'beat Liverpool' stance but just because a player of that ilk deserves it. It's be like Keane missing the 99 final. He's the best player from either final teams.

Fecks sake, congratulations and all, but this match was just crazy. Another incoherent, sudden defensive meltdown and an unlikely performance by Moura, and Llorente at his best since 2010. Late goal at the 95 min. ffs. This reeks even harder than Chelsea 2012.

Hope you beat Liverpool, of course.
 
Spurs should have beat Liverpool in their recent league encounter. They have every chance of winning the final. Poch deserves to win a major trophy for everything he’s done there. Klopp loves losing finals, so let’s be having another one.

And there's you agenda out the window. Can you praise Spurs now that they've won? It easy to praise them with a wry smile when you've think they've lost but now they're going to Madrid.
 
I knew it. Same as the 1st leg. As soon as they brought Llorente on and put him one-on-one with Blind I knew they were going to shitehouse the entire game with long balls to Llorente. Ajax couldn't fecking handle it again!!!!

What a game just as I had predicted. This spurs team is literally running on fumes but somehow still in top four and now CL finalist.
Tbh I am worried as we have already beaten them twice this season, can we do treble over them?
 
I hope the English press plasters this result all over their pages in equal amount to the Liverpool-Barca result. I had to take a 24 hour break from reading about football.
 
My heart aches for Ajax they have earned a lot of respect here.

But my word SPURS EAT YOUR HEART OUT! Last minute var decisions now this ? Must be amazing to be a spurs fan Right now!! Congratulations to all spurs fans in here thus must be an incredible feeling!

What an incredible couple of nights of football. You don’t see this kind of thing very often.

At least Spurs have a slightly better chance than Ajax of stopping the scum from winning it but I’m not holding out much hope. Ajax showed their inexperience tonight and would have been crushed by Liverpool. At least Spurs know what they’re up against and should have Kane back (right?).

Both Liverpool and Spurs can point to it being their destiny to win the final after those two comebacks! :eek:

What a season in Europe for English teams. A clean sweep in the finals is imminent. We’re very conspicuous in our absence :(
