Play Berbatov he is less likely than anyone to get injured on the wembley pitch as that would require running!

Resting players already?Berba will have the week off now he has retired from Internationals (if my memory serves me right).
Fergie says it's the last friendly before the season so will be playing those who need minutes.

Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed his starting XI for Sunday's Community Shield against Manchester United and said it would contain only one change from the side that lost their final pre-season friendly at Hamburg.
Hilario will start in goal, with the same outfield players from Wednesday night's game taking to the field at Wembley.
Blues boss Ancelotti revealed Didier Drogba would be on the bench, while No.1 Petr Cech, defender Alex (both calf) and full-back Jose Boswinga (knee) are all out.
Starting XI: Henrique Hilario, Paulo Ferreira, Branislav Ivanovic, John Terry, Ashley Cole, Michael Essien, John Mikel Obi, Frank Lampard, Salomon Kalou, Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda.
Subs: Ross Turnbull, Didier Drogba, Ricardo Carvalho, Yossi Benayoun, Yuri Zhirkov, Gael Kakuta, Daniel Sturridge, Jeffrey Bruma.
Thats a bit strange, telling the press your starting line up 2 days in advance...
Based on our current injury/resting situations this is my prediction of the team that starts at Wembley.
.........................VDS..........................
Brown.........Evans.....Vidic...........O'Shea
Valencia......Fletcher...Scholes.........Nani
.....................Berbatov.......................
....................Hernandez.....................
Who's captain?
Personally I'd pick Vidic but I'd think others would opt for Fletcher here.
Brown ever captain us? O'Shea was it for Ireland (though he did for opening game last season as well).
I think it would be Fletch. He captained first pre-season even though Giggs and Scholes played - unless that was because it was against Celtic.
VDS or Vida otherwise.

So Brown isn't injured - that's good. Thought that is why he was out of the Ireland game.
I think the fact that he was neither Irish nor due to play against Ireland did that.

That Chelsea defence looks a bit shit. Why isn't Carvalho starting? Bosingwa injured again?
Well you do have to consider that the game means feck all in the big scheme of things, hell even in the small scheme of things it means feck all
He's not injured again, he's still injured from last season.
If Park is to play in the middle he would need 2 other centre midfielder in there with him. To just play Park and Fletch in against Essien, Lampard and Mikel would be suicide.

Great to see the smiling face of Paddy with the lads.
With the twins being doubtful - think the starting line up will be
VDS
Brown, Evans, Vidic, O'Shea
Nani, Fletcher, Scholes, Giggs
Rooney, Berbatov.
With Owen to come on for Rooney after half time.
Bench: Valencia, Cleverly, Gibson, Smalling, TK, Owen, Macheda

Chicharito?? I think it's the perfect match to test him against a top class PL defence, especially with this match being not that important in the grand scheme of things. Sure we'd like to win it, and it is silverware at the end of the day but we won't be exactly crying if we lose. IMO, it's the perfect chance to see how Chicharito fares against an English defence.
So playing against Casilias, Ramos, Puyol, Piqué, and Capdevilla midweek is not challenging enough for him ... oh wait.
