I'm sure a few of them were prior service members and still have the uniforms. However, they cannot legally adorn rank insignia, unit patches, and service tag on the uniforms. Also, if they are current active/reserve members they would be in violation of UCMJ if wearing their actual uniform and taking part in protest.
