I am hoping Carrick makes the bench if not a start. I expect park to start on the right along with shea, giggs in the middle and richardson on the left. Ronaldo will get a free role behind Saha.
i think fergie will go on his crazy tempering of the squad against 'smaller' clubs and early season experiments habit again.

My personal preference would be to pack midfield (but to be honest, SAF probably prefers Fletcher over Jones at the moment):

Although I agree playing Ronaldo as a forward is some option, I don't understand why play him there when we still have two real forwards in Solskjaer and Rossi. Playing Ronaldo as a forward should be an emergency solution...
