Charlton v. United

Despite having won 5-1 at the weekend, I'm strangely nervous ahead of this game. Charlton will be a tougher proposition under Dowie, and with Hasselbank up front they will be a threat.
Obviously we are without Scholes and Rooney. I'm dissapointed Rossi is not starting.
I predict a 1-1 draw.

Charlton:

Carson
Young
El Karkouri
Fortune
Hreidarsson
Hughes
Holland
Faye
Ambrose
Hasselbaink
Bent

If we dont beat that shower of shit we dont deserve to win the league.

a bit harsh - i'd take bent and young to add to our squad from that side and JFH is still capable of banging them in. Its gonna be a tough game.

its a shame David Jones didn't even get a place on the bench

David Jones played the whole game monday, he had a few pre-season injuries so he needs some games before looking at first team

Charlton always allow us to play and i don't think it will change under Dowie.Away Win.

United Road..... Take me home...... to the place... I belong

to Old Trafford

to see United

Take me home..... United Road

We have enough pace to cause them problems but I don't like the look of our central midfield, and our backline are going to have to be on their toes with Hasselbaink and Bent around.

I reckon we'll go behind early, end up drawing the game.

COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm feckin nervous, and the fact that Scholes and Rooney are out doesnt help much, either!!

Come on, United!!

Wow...this reminds me of Arsenal at villa park 1999.

The white kits...red and white kits...the pitch...the atmosphere...night game

United won the last 8 games against Charlton and never lost a single game against them!

Our fans outsinging the home support again.

It's like a home game.
