Are we playing 'How many points did we deserve'? Really? Come on now, United will be in the top 4 and maybe even challenging for the title at the end of the season, but this 'deserved' stuff is teeth achingly RAWK-like.
Quite. The Lilywhites didn't put up much of a fightTalk about deluded.
You're in 6th place in the table, after a pretty easy fixture list compared to some. But I guess that's just all down to "bad luck".
"Conte loves the older players. Pirlo was 38-39 when Conte had him at Juve. Buffon was in his 40s."
- Ray Wilkins
(Pirlo is 37. Buffon is 38.)
It'a amazing how in some instances fans are more up to date than paid pundits are. Pirlo turns 38 this year, left Juventus aged 36, Conte left Juve when Pirlo was 35. On the other hand, Buffon was closer to 30, than 40 when Conte starting managing Juventus.

dont think bailly is among best cb in prem.....yet.I think De Gea, Bailly, Pogba, Mhkitaryan and Zlatan would all be good shouts for inclusion in a league's best XI (if you're saying it's based on quality and not form)

what happened to @Treble_Winning, beginning to miss his posts already.
His last post here seems like 4 days back. Seems like the mods thread banned him. Darn.He was on here calling Chelsea and JT massive racists yesterday, so I doubt you'll have to miss him for long.
Diego Costa in blazing row with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte over his fitness as hitman doesn't travel for clash against Leicester
- Diego Costa and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte row over player's fitness
- Top scorer Costa haven't travelled with the squad for away game with Leicester
- Spanish striker Costa says that he is suffering from a lower back problem
Chelsea striker Diego Costa’s future has been thrown into doubt following a blazing row with Antonio Conte over his fitness.
The Spain international has not travelled with the rest of the squad ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash against champions Leicester.
And his future with the league leaders is now under a considerable cloud after an argument with boss Conte over an injury.
Costa believes he is suffering from a lower back problem, which could be linked to his history of hamstring injuries.
But members of the Blues medical team are not convinced by Costa’s complaints and Conte has subsequently backed his staff.
The disagreement has led to a falling out between Costa, Conte and club physios with the striker not backing trusting their methods.
The Blues were planning to offer Costa a new contract but the development casts significant doubt over that possibility
Indeed, Sportsmail understands representatives for the striker are in China looking for potential offers for Costa with a view to a lucrative switch to the Far East.
Blues medical staff have been cautious with Costa given his history of hamstring problems and have taken extra precautions over the course of the season to ensure the issue does not flare up.
Costa has arguably been Chelsea’s most influential player this season; scoring 14 goals for so far, hence Conte’s ploy to ensure he stays injury free.
But the issue could threatened to derail Chelsea’s push for the title.
Conte remains unconvinced by Costa’s understudy Michy Batshauyi despite the Belgium international’s £34million price tag.
The Chelsea manager is in the market for a new striker this month with Swansea’s Fernando Llorente a leading target.
And the issue with Costa could see Chelsea accelerate their search for a new centre-forward ahead of the transfer deadline at the end of the month.
He was on here calling Chelsea and JT massive racists yesterday, so I doubt you'll have to miss him for long.
Batshuayi will be thrilled to get his chance
This is marvelous news. What an opportunity. Come to Manchester, Diego. We are building something very exciting here and you can win proper trophies with us. Please don't go to China![]()
He's a great player but no way would I want him around the club. He's not that much better than Zlatan whilst also being toxic. Two managers he's had problems with now.

This.
Wouldn't want the Ötzi looking cnut anywhere near our club.
He would provide depth and a different attacking outlet to Zlatan. I would imagine that for this season Zlatan would still start most games but with Costa as a rotation option. He is phenomenally aggressive and knows how to unsettle opponents, plus his finishing is excellent. Zlatan isn't going to be around forever and Costa could become his natural successor to the #9 role. Besides, I'm sure Mourinho knows how to handle him now![]()
Whatever the actual situation is, no Costa for any amount of games is unbelievably great news for Liverpool - could swing the title-race in their direction![]()
You've just been on an unbelievable winning streak but still the bastards are only 5 points behind you, with you yet to play at Anfield, and with a difficult fixture at Goodison still to come at some point whilst they have 3 guaranteed points when Everton surrender at Anfield again this season - any disruption to your locker-room could let them back in, and then before you know it we're all having to spend the summer offline and avoiding any sort of media. The stakes are high here man!!There's no race. I could play upfront for Chelsea and we'd still keep pissing all over this league.
