Dzeko would be a good player for them to rotate with Morata or in a 2 striker set-up.
To be fair; Dzeko could come in for £30m, then his wages will take up £7m per year which is £21m over the contract, then you have the agent fee of £4m. So the transfer actually costs £55m.
I think I might become a journalist

Why are they not in for Mandzukic? he's a target man, tall, cost less than Dzeko, conte worked with him before..
Too short. Only 6'3".
Same for DDG, for such a talented GK all round, he doesn't half know how to save them. Should be trying to be more aggressive jumping off the line (refs don't give two shits anyway) and intimidating.Just checked Caballero's penalty stats and he's saved 10 out of a possible 26 during regulation play, not sure about his record in shootouts but the two i am aware he's been involved in he's saved 4 out of 8. If it comes to it in the CL Conte really needs to considerer pulling a Van Gaal because Courtois has many strength's but saving penalty's ain't one of them (5/29 by comparison).
Conte already left Juventus when Mandzukic joined Juventus. It's not like Juventus is easy going when it comes to sale of their player especially mid season. To persuade Juventus, arguably Chelsea would have to pay way over his real value. Dzeko case may be the same. I can't see AS Roma easily let a key player go for market value mid season. Why are they not in for Mandzukic? he's a target man, tall, cost less than Dzeko, conte worked with him before..

For 10 years we have all heard Chelsea have got the best youth teams in the world and yet not one of their players have turned out to be any good. Why is Musonda not getting more minutes? Wasn't he a supertalent?

Today’s big win will shut the anti-Conte fans up for awhile and I am pointing out the Chelsea fans who want him to be sacked.
Visit Chelsea forumsPlease do actually point them out!
Mönchengladbach did a decent job with him.Andreas Christensen is (at least) good.

Sarri is a good coach however these idiotic anti-Conte fans don’t have the brain cells to think that the current Chelsea squad need an overhaul to be able to play in his attacking system. The Board will never sanction a whole bunch of players to be bought for any coach let alone a newly hired one. Some people actually want Sarri to replace him, ridiculous to think about
Exactly how Juve fans felt when Allegri replaced Conte, now he's idolized. Some people actually want Sarri to replace him, ridiculous to think about

I agree. However, if Sarri was at Chelsea he would need players that can fit into his system and that goes against the modus operandi of the Chelsea board which is 1) only buy players that they want regardless of what the coach thinks and 2) does not practise a Football style identity as it only wants instant success on the field. Chelsea’s identity if any has been a more cautious and pragmatic style of Football for the past 5 years and a sudden change to an attacking style would need heavy investment in both the players and coaches which naturally the Board would never do.What's wrong with Sarri btw? He's doing a very good job with Napoli. Not saying he's better than Conte but he's not another Moyes.
Before the window we lacked a wing back to compete with Alonso, creativity in the midfield & a backup striker conte trusts to compete with Morata.
Looks like we will be getting all 3 and for 63m roughly. This is the business I don't mind if we are going to operate on a tighter budget as they are all good value for money, just hate the last minute panic buys!
Dzeko will be a good signing I believe (I'd play him ahead of Morata tbh), not sure about the others though. Chelsea are starting to get a very bang average looking squad
Yeah I think he will compete well, would you say Chelsea are over achieving or United under achieving in terms of being only 3 points above an average squad?

Chelsea are massively overachieving (as they did last year), huge credit to Conte
I think you're overachieving and we're still suffering a bit from our bad run over Xmas. I think we're a better side than Chelsea right now and should be a few more points ahead of you than we are.
It does seem though that you're increasingly reliant on Hazard to provide almost all the creativity. Conte has been very negative the last few weeks with his tactics.
Emerson is going to be an excellent signing, if he fully recovers from his knee injury.
I don't know much about him, was hoping a Roma/Serie A fan could shed some light on how good he was before the injury.
We signed Rudiger off the back of that injury and he's turned out great.
