Yeah to go from Zouma / Guehi to Kounde / Chalobah with more or less no increase in cost is ridiculous business.
The most powerful lady in football world marina the reason. Chelsea lucky to have her. Also bakayoko out on loan to Milan with option to buy 20mn euros.

Anjorin wanted by locomotiv Moscow and negotiations going on. Drinkwater and Barkley need to go out with one central midfielder coming in.We are good to go.

Broja scored brace for Southampton in carabao cup.

I don't really know much about Kounde but is that really a big difference in quality?

Yeah Kounde was conservatively one of the 3 best CBs in La Liga last season and he turns 23 in November - you'd be hard pressed to find a better long-term replacement for Azpilicueta. The biggest thing though is that our quality on the ball has gone up massively, which is key in Tuchel's 3ATB system - Guehi is a great passer but mostly from deeper positions and with Christensen close to signing a new deal as the middle CB the path was muddier. Suspect this might spell the end of Rudiger's time at Chelsea though.

RLC has been given permission to accept or deny a loan to Roma.

Apparently Roma want to sign him permanently. The valuation I have seen floating around is £16m. He was probably worth triple that amount a couple of years ago before the injury.

The Bakayoko deal has an obligation to buy for £17m IF some clauses are met. I'd imagine it's appearances/TOTY etc

It would be a fantastic deal to get rid of him for that, i know we paid £40m but a lot of that will be written off already

I will be happy if someone take him for free never mind 17 mn.

Tino Anjorin to Lokomotiv Moscow for about £7m. They must be buying him on the strength of the reputation of the academy or something because he's never been on loan and he's only had a couple of cameo appearances in the first team.

Beautiful CL schedule. If it goes really well can get some youth experience.

September 14 - Zenit (home)

September 29 - Juventus (away)

October 20 - Malmo (home)

November 2 - Malmo (away) - 5.45pm

November 23 - Juventus (home)

December 8 - Zenit (away) - 5.45pm

Hahahaha we have absolutely no chance now. Last 10 games with the bald cnut we have 2 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses. Surely there should be a rule that if you feck over a team badly (in a fecking cup final no less) you shouldn't be able to ref them again.
My response to finding out that cnut Taylor is reffing our game.

Great defensive display second half. Mendy was very good I thought along with Christensen. Lukaku isn't any better than I remember him at United and was back to being clumsy and inept.

Werner would have been better in the second half and you might have nicked it.

Excellent point in the circumstances. They look very solid (keeper looks a bit dodgy on his kicking though)

Saw a few people blaming Mendy for the Liverpool pen but it was Alonso's fault for challenging him.

Chelsea are a super team - bunker defensively, very calm under pressure and seems to have good options upfront.

Could have won this game had it not been for the silly red card.

Biggest contenders for the PL imo

I thought Mendy was good and I've been skeptical about him. Made some good saves second half and was very decisive claiming the ball in the air and sweeping with his feet.

We surely can't be given Taylor again to ref our games. He's always the main reason why we lose or occasionally draw.

Really showing by Chelsea today. 11 v 11 they were clearly the better team. Down to 10 their defensive organisation was fantastic. Tuchel is a hell of a coach.

How Fabinho not been booked, worse than the red card. Salah kicked the ball away and mouthing off and nothing. Totally absurd double standards.

I really like that this team doesn't panic when some things go against them. Regroup. Hunker down. Come out of there with a point and one of the hardest games of the season out of the way.

Need goals around Lukaku to win this league IMO. Tuchel needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat and get a support player reaching 12 to 15 goals

It's because you're so organised and well coached on and off the ball. Incredible impact by Tuchel

Bitter sweet.

Should have been 2 up in the first half but can't underestimate a point there with 10 men for a half.

It's heartening to know we won't collapse in the face a bit of adversity. We've crumbled in the past when shit hits the fan. Tuchel is doing incredible work with this team.

I mean Havertz has the potential to provide exactly that.

It was more Liverpool being out of ideas and Chelsea fielding 8 defensive players.

They'll need more goals to be serious contenders

Thought they were very well drilled in the second half. Credit to Tuchel. A lot of teams would’ve crumbled in that situation. Still think it’s between them and City for the league.

He doesn't - he has Havertz and Mount who are both very capable of this. That's assuming Werner continues to be shite on top.

Still think City are favourites though

Yeah, City are still team to beat as am not sure Chelsea can produce that level of consistency and can also see them having a bit harder time breaking teams which park the bus then City.

However, one helluve transformation. Such a tough and well drilled team to play against.

Mount has around 1 goal in 7 for Chelsea in the league and Havertz has 5 league goals to his name.
They haven’t shown this at all.

Thought that first half showing was more impressive and they looked as a more threatening side.

But yeah, they did react very well in the 2nd after dodgy first 15 minutes.

Both are more than capable of churning in a very good output for Chelsea. If we were to go by last season, you'd think Martial was never capable of 10+ goals let alone 20.
