It shows that having a top manager who got the job because he is good at his job is more important than having a club legend who knows the club if you want to have succes.
I think it was more to do with upgrading on managers more then their transfer window. Especially when most of the players they signed haven't had that big of an impact.

So turns out the best method was the opposite of what we did. We spent our money on youth and players that didnt feature much this season and we stuck with our old boy Ole.

Classless to sack a club legend who knows the club and was stabilizing it after tumultuous times under Conte and Sarri. A few more transfer windows and I think they would’ve been there or thereabouts under Frank 
Reminds me of some other german coach who took over midseason and won the CL.

The job he's done since coming into Chelsea is incredible. They had a solid squad but holy shit, without having a star attacker, a world class player in Kante and then solid around them... deserved champions league winners.
