False equivalence. This season, Man United were not doing nearly as poorly as Chelsea were under Lampard.

Risk paid off. Fair enough to Chelsea and as I already wrote in this thread, got a feeling it could’ve been us. Then again, we didn’t took that risk also because we’re sentimental over Sir Alex and still hoping for his second coming. That’s what makes us Man United and proud, since Chelsea after all are a plastic club with much less of a history. It’s also what makes us less objective and negatively impacts our decisions.
Watching his interviews, his attitude is top notch every time. Very charismatic personality, no wonder the (non-diva) players fight for him.
I am no fan of Chelsea, but there is something very satisfying about watching Tuchel beat an oil/state backed team like City to the Champions League after being turfed out of another such club in PSG when the biggest crime he committed was losing in a Champions League Final.
Congrats to Chelsea, they have built a cut-throat culture where mediocrity will not be tolerated. Lampard was the sentimental choice, but Chelsea was brave to get rid and try a different manager.

But seriously one has to respect the winning culture at Chelsea. Everyone thought you had lost that edge with lampard being appointed and seemingly being afforded patience but the club quickly switched gears and the rewards are clear. Tuchel has been brilliant.
Hes been fantastic. Like I've posted on here MULTIPLE TIMES after defeats we've had under him or draws there's an obvious problem and it's not him or his tactics it's the guys up front missing chance after chance after chance. Even today but thank god it didn't cost us.
So true..Yep totally agree. The set up and buildup play has always looked quality under Tuchel especially retention of the ball and off the ball quality. That's the key. Players will get better or worse, stay or go etc but as long as the system does well the coach is doing a great job behind the scenes.

This whole thing comparing him with Di Mateo, lets say he gets a sack in 6 months, so what? Its not about those managers, they will have a CL to their names but whats more important is that CL is added to other throphies in Chelsea history.

Anyway, I’m extremely curious what we’ll do in the window. Giroud will go and Tuchel clearly doesn’t fancy Tammy at all. So a striker WILL be brought in. If we can somehow dump a truck full of money on Dortmund’s doorstep and get Haaland we could be some team. Excited to see what Tuchel’s ideas are once he gets a couple of “his” players in.

He surely need to develop a system to win with more attackers on the pitch. I read it somewhere that 3 at the back system he decided to employ on Chelsea playing squad was on the way to London after deep discussion with his support staffs.
Because it suited the squad more in his vision about being defensively solid at that time was more important than his preferred attacking 4-1-4-1 or 4-2-3-1 or 4-2-4.
He certainly like a mobile striker rather than big lump who can't able to control the ball. Want to put more important to team effort than solo super stars.
