He's doing so well with an average side besides 2 or 3 players. Give him a better squad and he would do a great job. Depends who they sign but top 3 is possible and probably title charge. Key point is they'll be hard to beat. Like mourinho Chelsea yr before last.

By the looks of it we are getting Kante and Koulibaly too along side Batshuayi. I will be happy if we did not sign anymore players this summer apart from those three.
With the new signings, the lineup could be very very strong and without any european games we could well be challenging for the title.

Koulibaly and Kante would improve Chelsea a lot. I expect Batshuayi to be better than Falcao/Pato.
Also, it seems that Hazard is recovering his level.
Which formation do you think Conte will use?
If you did get Kante, what do you think that would mean for Matic if Mourinho pursued his rumoured interest? Do you think you'll let him go?
For the right amount of money Chelsea board will let any player go. Towards the end of the season it did seem that Matic had pretty much given up on his Chelsea future, so I can very well see him leaving.

I am really looking forward seeing him in the PL next season. Italian managers usually do well in the PL.

I dont think think it is going to be his famous 3-5-2, it would would be a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 especially Hazard does not fit well into the 3-5-2.

Azpi - Koulibaly - Zouma - Baba
Kante
Fabregas RLC
Pedro - Costa - Hazard

The fans overall love Mata and would have him back any time for any player apart from Hazard. I personally dont want Mata here, he is way too soft to play either for Conte or Mourinho. I think Mourinho will move him on again once he has his best formation locked down.
I assume you mean left-back? since Ake played left back at watford last season. I think Baba will be given another chance with Azpi being his backup at LB. At rightback we will have Azpi, Kane and Ivanovic. That said, I would like to see Jay DaSilva (LB) moved into the senior team as soon as possible
I was thinking you have Azpilicueta there and Aké, Rahman and Kenedy for depth. Aké at least has a season under his belt in that position so if he stayed you could move Azpilicueta to the right. I don't think Rahman is ready to be first choice there and Ivanovic is spent.
Interesting to see if there's anything in their rumoured interest in Darmian a few weeks back or if it's just the type of link we had when van Gaal was linked with every Dutch player going?
Ake is a reluctant left-back anyways. His main position of DM/CB which is likely position for him at Bournemouth. Also, I think it is too early to judge Baba as everyone was pool last season.
Koulibaly looks like a proper thug. Kante is a dream midfield signing.

Costa is pretty irreplacable this summer. Who do you think can fill that gap? Batshuayi will need a year or so to adapt, it would likely be the same for Morata as well.
I don't know. We would have to take a hit in attack and make sure we are defensively sound until Batshuayi is accustomed to the league.
Conte reminds me of a much less endearing version of Simeone. He has a bit of a punchable face anyway, even without the toys out the pram stuff.
Cuadrado is moving to Juve. Sky Sports are saying a £1.7 million "loan fee" for next season and then £19 million to make it permanent.

Watched batshuayi at least 30 times and he has never once impressed me. Really not happy about him signing.

Don't think he will be good enough going forward for Conte, when you look at the wing backs for Juve & Italy likes of Lichtsteiner, Asamoah, Candrava & Florenzi
Will Hazard fit properly in the 3-5-2? I have my doubts, even though i know he can play behind the strikers.

I'm not sure exactly, Conte just seems a lot more unlikeable for some reason. Perhaps it's because Simeone's antics at Atletico seem to have a bit more of a purpose.

I've said this before but Fabregas would get manhandled in that midfield. We just don't have the players for a 3-5-2. I pray Conte doesn't persist with 3 at the back.
