why can't we have this formation when Scholes play?!?! Stick him in the Rooney position (attacking midfielder+second striker, as long as he can attack) and put Rooney on the right and Ronaldo on the left but no, when Scholes play SAF or CQ plays him in a stay back midfield position. :rolleyes:

Hes 20 years old, people are incredebly harsh on Richardson, but this calender year hes mananged to perform no matter where or who hes played for.

Ronaldo hasn't got the discipline to play in a 3 man midfield, nor do we want to rush Rossi to be a first team player.

he was good in his lb position,although he got skinned several times, his pace was there to save the day. the way i see it,he`s rubbish when he crosses the halfway line when playing for the first team.

IMO, not really. He's better used in that role, yes but he didn't do worse on the right. Besides, he got the licence to get to the middle as well. Playing Scholes in an attacking position (without having to stayback all the time/most of the time) benefits the team overall since we be having the best of what Scholes can do in his position and using what Rooney always can do even on the right. With them, two of our cleverest and naturally talented players in United playing in attack i'm sure the game will be more enjoyable than in recent times.

Hes not a left winger, the sooner people reliase that the better, he succeded at Brom in the middle.

When he comes inside we are narrow, for 10 years we destroyed teams on the flanks, go with our strengths

Because someone thinks pace automaticaly translates into an ability to play on the wing, probably Quiroz the tactical genius.

i think he will do well in that position but why not use richardson instead and rooney in his usuall pos?

The problems are we aren't playing that now. Even Ronaldo comes in to the middle more often than us seeing him on that corner area and same thing when Giggs play in recent times. More middle than flanks. IMO, the only player who really covers the flanks and only just occasionally gets to the middle is Park but think it will be changed soon.

he`s going to use rooney in a position that Scholes would like to be in or that position is actually Scholes' ex. :p

Okay - the visuals aren't cut and dried but these seem to look like 4-2-3-1...

I'd expect more of a 4-4-1-1 tbh. With wings ready to play a little ahead of the 2 CMs.
