CL: Lille vs Manchester United

Rio's passing's been surprisingly rubbish tonight. And clearly there's something wrong with Rooney, he's hardly had the ball.

He did so very well in preseason games making me think he could be the reason if we have a good season. What i meant was he did excellently in preseason games, all those dives were not there, timing on when to cross or dribbles pass players were spot on, available for the ball, etc. It's just disappointing these days.

I know i love Scholes too much but he's the reason why in the first half we hardly retain the ball in the middle of the field, no one was there to string those passes, no one gets into spaces and hardly any players available for passes/throw ins.

Even one of the pundits said he's never seen Utd play like this before. That's saying something because last week we'd a horrible game.

Agree totally! Especially the panicky part. They have no one available to pass to and when they do pass, looks more like "i want to get rid of the ball, please don't let it stay with me" and like i'd said in my previous post, we miss Scholes.

Im trying to watch the game on a stream and follow the match thread for a bit of a laugh like i normally do, but you lot are such a miserable shower of gits im leaving.

we miss a quality player in form, a natural leader.
we still look rubbish when scholesy is playing,and his passes arent exactly going to his teammates either.
