CL: Manchester United Vs. Dinamo Bucurest 25/08/04 (2nd Leg)

Bellion must have seen some of the comments on here regarding his play and turned himself around for the better!!

Has Timmy had much of anything to do??

Wow ... Bellion. Who would have known? And he just put one over the bar just now, too ... sounds like that one should have been in.

richardson has pace and can dribble but his end product is piss poor

the youngsters play with real confidence now, it is a joy
to watch.

Sounds like the youngsters were solid this evening. That's good to hear and gives hope for the future.

United are through ... 5-1 on aggregate.

Glad to see kleberson back, thought he played well before getting injured last year. Just think about this when we get Rudd and Saha and Rio

What an attacking team we will have almost wants you to go to a 3-4-3 formation

i wasnt impressed with eagles or fletcher, i thought they were both relatively poor.

Congrats, Man Utd was at a whole different level, even without Giggs and VanNisterlooy....

I know I said I was gonna bring highlights but the Romanian websites have not posted them yet...I guess they are pissed off because of the loss...

That is what one can expect when 5 of our top players were sold at the end of the season...Management just takes the money and don't buy any new talents...

BTW was it not a bit stupid of your manager to sack them players, or did they deserve it?

Just got back from OT, was only my second visit and my fourth Utd game ever and finally I got to see some goals! 10 years since the first game I went too! Been unlucky in the past losing 1-0 to Wimbledon in 1994, 0-0 against the Arse in 1995, 0-0 against the barcodes in Jan so finally tonight I got to see 3 goals and I was in the Stretford End...I am pleased! I thought Djemba was solid and looks promising for this season to keep the ship steady, Alan Smith (never thought in a million years he'd be the first player I'd see scoring a goal for Utd while I was in the crowd!) Great effort again tonight, should have had a hat trick, Eagles was a little bold tonight, he needs to toughen up a bit, Fletch too should be looking for the pass a little quicker than he was but still he's not up to match sharpnes just yet, Ronaldo is just class...full stop.
All in all was happy with performance although the first half was dissapointing (thought it was going to be 0-0 at fianl whistle!) Looking forward now to see who we get in the draw.
