Imagine fergie addressing manchester after winning the league, on course to the treble, winding up the whole country. "we are champions.....of manchester, and not only that but of liverpool, and of london, of england, and we will possibly conquer europe".

 He's out of his tree.

What an ungracious Twat!
He's used up his quota of luck in this years CL..(I still can't get over that shitty, flukey free kick over there)
Hope they get battered in the final the Cocksure Gits!

I thought it was quite classless and just made him look like a drunken cockend, but there you go

Yeah, that make two odious, cocksure twats up against each other in the final. It's gonna be horrible to watch. One of those games where you want both teams to lose.

Well I hope Inter win as they've had to navigate past Chelsea, Barcelona and a tricky tie in CSKA so they deserve it, plus they've been the better team in all those games.

Bayern have had such an unbelievable amount of luck in every single knockout game this year. Typical Germans.

I wont be watching it for this reason.

Can't really stand either him or Mourinho, and can't bring myself to want either team not to lose.

At least Inter haven't had giant helping hands from reffy the ref in every single fecking round, so I suppose I'd be slightly less depressed if they won.

Yep, unfortunately. :(

To hell with that. Inter all the way.

We'll see how much drunken lederhosen dancing Van Gaal does after his squad get hammered in Madrid.

..you're a tit.
Explain yourself you big proud gay!
Imagine if Rafa had won the League and then addressed a crowd of scousers, taunting the people of Manchester United and Chelsea ... and going on to suggest they would conquer Europe before a ball had been kicked....I'd like to think you'd deem him an ungracious twat...I certainly would.

I love this kind of thing, and this is the kind of thing that could propel Bayern to win the CL. Bayern have such a strong team spirit and the only team you could say that has an equal if not higher spirit is Inter - It will be a cracking final, of that I am sure.

Ugh. The Mourinho love-in on redcafe continues.

Cringe.

It's hardly a 'love-in', just some people prefer Mourinho and admire what he's achieved in such a short amount of time (For example, he can equal Fergie's CL haul, despite still having 22 years on him, and both victories coming with smaller clubs who had been given no chance).

It being called a 'love-in' by the anti-Mourinho crowd is beyond boring.

I wouldn't say that at all.

Wow, you're like clockwork when it comes to Mourinho, Elvis.

I would. They both demonstrated it throughout the CL. Who would you say has shown more?

Well, Bayern shouldn't even have got through to face United.

I doubt anyone would be bigging up their team spirit if the officials had done their job.

As for Inter, if relentless cheating and gamesmanship counts as "team spirit" then I doff my hat to them.

wat the feck was that? the man is crazy, I thought he was a different type of manager, no way SAF would do something like that.

Marienplatz! Brings back some cracking memories of Munich that place.

Despite what happened this year, I've always had a liking for Bayern. Proper club, run very well and very decent set of fans.

So have I. Although i hope they get smashed in the final this year.

I thought it was funny as feck.

Let's not forget that he's Dutch........not German.

The whole Balotelli fiasco can't have done much for team spirit I'd imagine, or Mourinho's constant criticisms of him. Add to that the fact that Mourinho has constantly slagged off Italian football at every given chance.

It's not as if you can measure something as subjective as this but from an outsider looking in I can't see how those conditions are conducive to creating good team spirit, let alone the best in Europe, apart from Bayern. Obviously success can create a cohesion within the squad but to say that they must have good team spirit because they are winning is a little too simplistic.

Possibly, maybe I am looking at it from a knockout perspective as opposed to their earlier games - however it's in those knockout games that you see a teams character and its in games where they are tested i.e 3-0 down at Old Trafford and not folding where you see a teams spirit.

I won't disagree with Inter, they have resorted to gamesmanship and cheating in some instances for sure, however they are a complete unit and every player is covering for his team mate and putting in the graft. They have leaders, winners and experience and a coach who has more confidence than anyone else. This combination is why I think they have the team spirit.
