Congratulations Chelsea

Can see a patern there.
I tried that during the darkest Moyes months but it didn't work :D
Join us. We have free parking, some of the best players in the world, annual celebrations, and no risk of 1-1 home draws becoming a thing

Sorry no can do as we are trying to overtake the Madrid lot.

Got on the train back from Birmingham last night and was accompanied by 200 odd Chelsea fans.. utter odious cnuts the lot of them.

So no congrats from me, really want to see them flop next year.

Good performance.

Should be a better title race next year if Liverpool and Chelsea have champions league. Could actually be arsenals years next year if they make a hasty exit from Europa league...

I'm glad for their presence, atleast when we're shit, they stop the cnuts from City and Pool from winning the league.

yes...the only saving grace really. Couldn't handle Pool winning at all - stuff of nightmares. It's pretty much been obviously Chelsea for a while really, so it's kind of......meh. But yeah, well done to them, best team deserves it and they have been.

Congrats to Chelsea. Deserved win. Congrats to @duffer enjoy

You probably have a large number of scumbags in your support due to the fact that so many people world wide claim to be Manchester United fans, but Chelsea was a magnet for National Front types only a few decades ago and still have a minority of fascists in their matchday support as evidenced in their behaviour in Paris a few years ago. Find me an example of a group of Manchester United (or any of the other major English clubs) doing the same thing.
Here you go.

youre opinion based on 4 chelsea fans vs enough fans in a stadium to get a chant started

That was a bad time in English football and most clubs had an element of national front in their fan base, even liverpool. Chelsea for there part at-least did a stellar job of cleaning out such elements from the grounds. Just visit a proper leeds, westham or cardiff fan pub on match day and youll see what real hools are.

How come a left wing fan is better than a right wing fan? What about those sitting in the center?

In terms of football supporters far right nationalists are the ones most likely to cause trouble. Chelsea fans in Paris are an obvious example. Surely that's obvious?

Southampton and West Ham are major English clubs?

West Ham have always attracted far right racist filth anyway. That shouldn't be news to anybody.

I thought football was meant to be that thing that bring people together regardless of age, gender, religion, race, income, political views. What do i know...

Pretty much the opposite of what right wing nationalism is about. Educate yourself buddy

My point is that a racisit thug is a racist thug and giving them political labels is a simplification. Im sure these "fans" have different politcal views, some of them vote Labour.

So in your view right wing nationalists and left wing socialists are probably equally racist? I'll leave you to it mate

Well done Chelsea and all the Chelsea fans on here. Best team by a country mile and never really let Spurs back in.

I remember the times back when United was a force both at home and the CL these type of threads on the Caf were filled with congratulatory posts giving credit to whichever club won the league. Some would add stuff like 'enjoy it while it lasts because we're getting it back where it belongs next year' but it was all a good natured banter.

Now there's bitterness coming through in every other post, everything from the Russian oligarch owner to the easy schedule due to not being involved in Europe to horrible fans, etc. Somehow it feels more of United fans being bitter about their own recent struggles rather than Chelsea having it easy or not being impressive enough champions for someone's taste.

I dont recall any Utd fans offering Chelsea congratulations years ago. Majority of us have always thought your club was rotten

There is something eminently likeable about Conte. In fact as far as Chelsea teams go this one is pretty inoffensive, Costa aside.

They've made for a great opponent over the past decade and the onus is on us to peg them back.

I hope Arsenal stuff them in the final.

I found Ancelotti's 2009-10 double winning team likeable.

Congrats to them. Mostly played entertaining stuff and put in some really dominant performances. Clearly the best team around and of course helped by not playing European football. That extra rest has made for a consistent level all season long.

Is a left -wing, socialist fan base better?

Yeah, probably.

Well deserved Chelsea. Definitely the best team won it this year. Plenty of Chelsea fans I know are somehow surprised they managed to win the title with very little of mind games, blaming the refs and small fights with other managers  Let's see if Hazard stays for the next season, without him I think this side would look a lot different.

Agree. Think Chelsea is all about Hazard. Last year he was terrible and they were 10th. Herrera marked him out and they lost. Not that it is easy to mark him. Without Hazard, they will still be a good team but will lose that special extra which separates winners from merely good sides. I can only think of Sanchez as his replacement. No one else will fit in.

Worthy winners this season though. Winning the PL with matches to spare means that you have performed really well.

@Kentonio ?

Luckily, I congratulated him over a week ago before it was done and dusted ;)

I don't think it can be argued that they didn't deserve it. They've been a model of consistency since that heavy defeat at Arsenal. IIRC there were rumours that Conte was on his way out after that game, and although it was early days I don't think anyone would've had them down as title challengers at that point. That 13 game winning run broke everyone, even Spurs who have been very consistent themselves.

Well done to all the fans who had the decency to congratulate Chelsea. The others...... not so well done.

Next year? I enjoy this one first.
