It completely removes his objectivity as a camera observer.
The kid was guilty of interfering with an investigation. Without any further context that is all we can conclude. For all we know something was about to go down and the officer expediting the situation by arrresting him and removing his potential for more interference saved lives. Even if it didn't literally save lives, it very well could. During an active investigation police might not have time for uneducated, potentially agenda driven people with a camera who have no clear the obligations of being actually press journalist.
After watching some of those first amendment audits there are a few big problems with this incident.
It's important to keep in mind the law that allows filming from a publicly accessible location do not include interfering with an active police investigation. The cameraman is following closer than 20 feet and is legally in jeopardy of violating the interfering in an active investigation aspect. The cameraman has no standing to question the jurisdiction of the officers at that moment as he doesn't have all the information.
Second, the cameraman very clearly crosses other citizen's private property during this incident. he could be considered in violation of trespass.
Third, there is no actually evidence of police brutality or anything except the officer saying he is getting arrested, which may be perfectly legal.
Finally he insults the officer first by saying calling him "fecking sheisty" (an arguably racist phrase btw) and then later "feck you" while acting entitled. While cussing out public officials is usually counter productive in the least, in some places its actually against the law (there are tonnes of crazy local laws on the books that most people are not aware).
This should not even be compared to the NJ beach incident.

Although tragic that someone died in this instance, it means nothing to many motorcyclists on Florida roads to think nothing of massively exceeding the speed limit (in fact, there is an motorcyclist group’s Instagram screenshot in the link championing someone’s going 100mph in broad daylight). I drive on FL highways on off peak hours and consistently have to deal with packs of motorcyclists flying by me by more than 30mph. During rush hour traffic jams or congested roads, they are then driving between cars on lane lines making even a normal lane change tedious and a nerve wracking. I rarely, if ever, see a motorcyclist pulled over due to their wreck less driving.
While police pursuit laws have massive amounts of common sense and should be in place, in this instance the motorcyclists made their own bed by having no hesitation to zoom away.

In absolutely no way am I condoning the police for lying, it just exemplifies how shady And corrupt they can be. I can find a preponderance of police fault in every story that is in this link (at least for the last dozen pages). I’m not saying that the police are blameless here at all.
To me, this is an example of the other party being at least in as much fault. It’s a shame that the accident occurred, but you can’t automatically absolve the motorcyclists of blame.

I have too many first hand instances of dealing with motorcyclists driving illegally and irresponsible, up to physical altercations. I unfortunately see instances of it almost daily. They are not blameless in this, Pollyanna-ish to think so.

In my opinion, it’s an overriding mindset of most of the non-Harley riding type of motorcyclists out there. They can achieve such high speeds so quickly, any type of police intervention has to also be insanely fast.

Excellent we've come to an agreement.It’s most certainly is, I am utterly appalled by the actions of the police in my country. The recent militarization of the police in both mindset and weaponry leaves a massive amount to be desired and currently is causing a tear in the country’s moral fabric that won’t easily be mended.
This is a good argument for road safety laws that prohibit high speed chases.

I'm pretty sure that's basically @Skizzo's day job, you could always get a dash cam and send in footage of dangerous behaviour you come across.Don’t see evidence of such in stretches of the road where this type of driving typically occurs. Sure, there are traffic stop cameras at many major intersections in my area, but none on the bridges or stretches of highway where this type of motorcycling occurs.

Ideally we’re be able to get a plate, run it for their address, and pay them a visit later. More often than not though, they speed off and get away, then post it to their Instagram to look cool for their friends. Sometimes it’s just speed, sometimes it’s blocking traffic to do “tricks” or race.
