What makes this case worse is that a neighbour complained about two black men staying at a white womans house. The white woman in question is a childhood friend of the men and paralysed since she was 15. One of the two was helping her as her carer.
Police broke into the house, put a gun in the mouth of one of the men and pulled the trigger. Also assualted them with a sex toy etc. Just nuts.

So they see a black family minding their own business, with the man holding his baby, physically drag him away from the table, pull the baby away from him, wrestle him to the ground and repeatedly punch him in the head, all because they were looking for a black guy and saw one and didn’t care to check it was the right person, and now they’re charging him and his wife.

Shooting someone for fleeing a non-violent crime (which you can't even be sure they're guilty of) is an insane decision. It's just murder.
It's just as stupid when there were dangerous, high speed car chases after non-violent crime offenders. Thankfully those have been somewhat curtailed.
It's the 'feared for my life' executions like this one that need to be reduced.
I mean obviously the content of the texts and the officers actions are gross. But, I will never understand why in the world these people can think they can just admit crimes and be as racist a they want to be IN WRITING? With all those other co workers. They must have really thought that the whole office was just of the same racist mind and they were that insulated and comfortable to put it all out there.
