Did anyone noticed him bad mouthing Zidane?
twitter.com/ricardompr/status/779777865235722240 (can't embedd)

In the end he says in portuguese "pó caralho, vai para o caralho", roughly translates to "feck off, go feck yourself".

Also was reported to have uttered something along the lines of "I shit all over his whore of a mother." Obviously, Zidane being the son of a whore in question.

Sulking when his teammate scores for his team to go up 2-1 in a tight match. Cussing his manager out for subbing him when he had a poor game and Dortmund game is in a couple of days.

Real have enough money and reputation to kick this diva out and play better. They are full of world class players who I assume will perform better if they're not under the constant pressure of having to pass it to Ronaldo or face his fury.

He has been injured for a couple of months so he still needs time.
According to the press he said to Zidane in the dressing room "you disappointed me".Even his mother wrote in twitter!.
He has too much influence in the team and probably in the board. It reminds me to Raúl or Hierro in their last years.
Now he will renew until 2020 or 2021.I see nothing positive in that.Madrid should start giving more prominence to Bale

Agree with everything you wrote. Do you think there is a slight chance Pérez could have learned from the Casillas experience and hesitates to renew the contract of an aging player that has been too influential for too long? (Ronaldo obviously being a whole other category of star player than Iker, of course.)

I just can't fathom how precious he must be to be so disrespectful. It isn't Real Ronaldo FC. Take the decision like a man and be professional.

Zidane disappointed him?

Ronaldo might as well manage the side himself. What a flog.

if he's that upset, he should quit and then return again a couple of weeks later.

To be fair it is, they've made it be so. They've made everything in Madrid about him, his scoring records, having to pass to him and all that shit. They've created the monster, he wasn't half much of a sulking bitch here I'd say.

So Carvajal, if Ronnie and Zidane stop getting along, who do you think Perez would back?

Didn't they go from winning to a draw after Ronaldo's substitute?

He has played over 63,000 minutes of top flight club and international football in his career. That is more than Ibra, Totti, Shearer, etc. It is already an off the charts number and it would be shocking if he doesn't collapse as a player in the next few years.

Building the team around him going forward would be madness of the highest order.

It's difficult to know, especially for the transfer ban. Zidane perhaps but that could change if he doesnt win trophies.
For what I read Florentino wanted to sell Cris but changed his mind since it was a very unpopular decision, besides there were not Cristianos in the market.
Cristiano needs Madrid to win individual trophies. A periodist even quoted him saying something like "Messi wouldn't go to France".
In short they need each other. We will have in the future a inevitable situation similar to Iker or Raúl(or Rooney now),a legend in decline, besieged by press and fans but with a group of loyal fans/media creating debate.
Not to renew it would create a dirty debate and problems every time that he scores a goal or every time that Bale does

Wow, where did you get that statistic from?

If he left, where would he go? I don't know if he would go to anywhere other than us in England (which I would rather we reject). Maybe Juve?

Mmmm.... best to give him a one year rolling contract.... or you really might end up in a "Rooney" situation. Then again, I guess he wouldn't accept that.
The good thing is that he at least takes care of his body (unlike Rooney:D), but as you get into your 30s, the athlete's body just breaks down. So you might end up with one big expensive mess anyway....

Maybe he might decide to go to PSG...

Either PSG or go and live the high life in NY/LA for a few years? Maybe expand his brand/celebrity image in America.

Can't see China, or at least not just yet. Even though thinking about it the amount of money a Chinese team would probably offer him would be obscene even by their standards.

He's been awful when I've watched him this season.

I did predict Bale would outscore him this season in the unpopular opinion thread. Might not be that farfetched.

Might play poor, but you can guarantee he will still score 40+ goals this season.
