Oh god
Hahaha I know right
Oh god
Ronaldo maybe could have gotten more money in China at some point, but moving anywhere outside Europe would be a death knell to any relevance whatsoever in football. Considering his obsession with goal tallies, records, and individual awards it was obvious that wasn't going to happen. As it is, Juventus was probably the only team that deemed it affordable and worthwhile to shell out that kind of money and he ended up there so it's hard to feel sorry for him honestly.
spot on, going to Juventus wasn’t done out of some “noble challenge” he wasn’t happy that flo wasn’t willing to give him the contract he wanted so he looked elsewhere. I’m not even faulting Ronaldo for that, but this “looking for a new challenge” needs to die off.
as for him signing for more money in the US, MLS has a salary cap, so he certainly wouldn’t be making more in the US than Real Madrid or Juventus
Which club would offer him such an extravagant offer? Last time it happened was in 2007 with Beckham - 4year contract worth $250millionThe MLS has a designated player rule so clubs can sign superstars and they are not part of the cap program.

So CR could demand something similar

I don’t think he is bother to move to somewhere which pay him the most. He earns around 40m a year from Instagram alone, no club could afford that anyway. I think n he would prefer to just stay in Europe and become at least relevance in top level until he retires, either stay in Juventus or move to PSG.the highest salary the MLS has ever given in more recent times was Zlatan at 7 million USD. Ronaldo makes 31 million euro a year. Absolutely no way a single MLS team can afford to do that after Beckham’s salary hampered the funding to pay rest of the squad

Nah. Magnificent player and a legend here for me, but amongst other things, we should not be breaking our recruitment policy of signing younger players who can give us more than around 6 years of service if we want them to, and absolutely screw up the wage structure. The man is brilliant, but the man is also 36. Not worth agitating the likes of Bruno and Pogba in contract negotiations if they end up more productive than him.It seems that Juventus wants to get rid of Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid doesn't want him back. Ultimately, Cristiano Ronaldo was sadly wasted in Juventus, the club put all their eggs in one basket instead of actual good coaches and making a great team in the whole, Juventus' midfield is really lacking. The transfer of CR7 to Juve was bad for him and for Juve.
Would you guys like to see Cristiano Ronaldo back to United next season?

Yes
We'd be top of the league now with him instead of Martial.

City is too good. They won 21 games, drew 5 and lost only 3. And that's because they started the season badly, only fully founding their ground from December onwards. Before their loss to United last round, City had won 14 matches straight. City has the best attack and best defense in the league. 68 points. That's an amazing campaign by any critery, it only seems lesser because of the insanely high standards set by Liverpool and City before. United, meanwhile, is 11 points behind City in the table, if we assume that United wins their game-in-hand.
Ronaldo has 20 goals in 21 games in Serie A compared to Martial's 4 in 22 games in Premier League. Is it so far fetched to think an extra 16 goals would have got United 11/12 more points?Don't be silly.

Why on earth would you extrapolate Ronaldo's goal averages from Seria A to the premier league when the scoring has been higher in seria A than the premier League the past couple of years?
Moreover, why do you discount Ronaldo's negative effect on his team's play. Juventus were ravaging everyone domestically and regressed when Ronaldo joined.

Juventus had much better midfielders a few years ago than they do now.
And furthermore...if United would be top of the league now with Ronaldo in the side, why aren't Juventus top of the league now with him in the side?

Where does it say that?
I'm still waiting for your proof that he fought AlonsoDo you have an ingrained pathology that impels you to make stuff up? Ronaldo has not been getting fewer chances than Martial. You could make up a case for Ronaldo without resorting to openly lying.

May be something to do with Ronaldo being better at finding the time/space to shoot?Nonsense. Martial has had 40 shots on goal this season. Ronnie has had 100
