CSKA Moscow vs. Manchester United

I know this is on earlier tonight, is kick-off 5:45? GMT.

If so, line-up's shouldn't be far off.

This is basically a line-up's post.

Sorry.

5.30 BST.

Line-ups due any minute.

Ah brilliant, 15 minutes earlier than I expected, lovely. Thanks.

Surprised there is no news yet. The past matches were all an hour before.

So O'Shea is playing in centre mid? Oh happy day the good times are back! All we needed was Giggs next to him and then

Although i will say i'm annoyed at having only 1 up top. That makes me think we're probably going to do the same against Liverpool.

O'Shea in midfield then? :nervous:

Think he'll do fine though if I'm honest. Be interesting to see how he fares against Dzagoev and Fabio against Krasic.

Carrick rested for Anfield then? Good.

Looks like Berbatov playing upfront with Anderson playing off him. Interesting.

Bizarre line-up, can't figure out a way in my head to play it without O'Shea in cnetral midfield. Still, will wait and see how it goes.

Looks like this to me:

-------------vds

GNev-----Rio-----Vida------Fabio

Valencia----O'Shea----Scholes----Nani
------------------Anderson

-----------------Berba

why isnt brown starting .. he has been on the bench for a while .. surely he must be ready for first team action now ..
and wouldnt gibson be a better option in midfield that Oshea

Good team.

------------ Berbatov
Nani --------------------- Valencia
------ Anderson - Scholes
------------- O'Shea
Fabio --- Rio ------ Vidic -- Neville
-------------- VDS

I presume..

Think it's fabio on the wing with o shea at left back and valencia or nani playing off berbs.

O'Shea could well be playing at left back and Fabio on the wing.

VDS
Neville Ferdinand Vidic O'Shea
Nani Anderson Scholes Fabio
Velencia
Berbatov

Possible....

Our recent team selections away in Europe suggest otherwise.

Would be interesting, though.

Anderson will sit back in midfield. As usual. I think Scholesy might get forward more in this line up. He's been venturing forward more and more these days.

I personally think it will be.
VDS
Gary Rio Vidic O'shea
Nani Valencia Anderson Scholes Fabio
Berbatov

I hope so anyway.

Possible....

I would swap Nani and Valencia personally in that formation, mainly because Nani can use both feet. But if Fabio is playing on the wing it could be quite exciting, he;s not afraid to have a pop that boy.

O'Shea in midfield. I don't think I like it.

He's often quite decent in there with Scholes, last time I remember was Portsmouth(with Anderson in a withdrawn wing role, so somewhat similar) and we dominated the midfield and had very few problems.

He gives us defensive stability and that's what we need alongside Anderson and Scholes, and it allows us to keep Carrick fit for the game at the weekend as well.

I'm happy about it.

Keeps Carrick fresh for the weekend?
