Give him time lads. He's got one hell of an act to follow in Van der Sar.

Someone made a very good point on Twitter, in that Van Der Sar made a similar mistake for Messi's goal in the UCL final. Both should've done better.
Who says "what the shit"?
Seriously though I understand what he means, it would have been interesting to see how De Gea would have fared in a penalty shoot-out.
He wasn't at fault at all for the first though?
Same, but not surprised at all.I actucally found the response from a lot of United fans on twitter to be absolutely fecking discusting.
I think that apart from two stupid mistakes (which lead to goals) he did very well
Its his first game. He might have been at fault for both goals but who cares now. He will learn from his mistakes. He is very calm.
Somebody post that Dugal and father ted clip, I can't be bothered.
He is going to make mistakes and will get criticism. Thats expected. Its how he reacts.
He reacted well in the second half and didnt let his head drop. His distribution is top class, and he needs to work on his communication. That will come with the english lessons hes getting.
I don't mean to bring up the height issue again, but...

Jones is supposed to be 5''11 and De Gea 6''3
There's no doubt he was at *fault* in both goals, but I have faith it will make him stronger. It just might make his concentration levels go up a notch, as proved in the second half today with two excellent saves.
Lets not forget, its his first real united game that counts in the wembley.
Apparently Neuer made a huge mistake today in Munich's defeat. Not a good day for great keepers eh?
