He does have shit sideburns though - or is it just a poor attempt at a beard?
At least he won't have to deal with Bebe's crossing
I see the same fear in his eyes that I saw in Foster, Pig, Barthez, and Carroll.
He'll be fine. Just have him and Gibson practise long shots in training, and he's sorted.
Pretty sure that's the only reason Gibson's still here, anyway.

Jamie "literally" Redknapp says "I know they say he's 6"4 but he's never been that height in his life" and something about his frame being abnormal for a goalkeeper.

We all knew he would make mistakes. Eric Steele knew it, Sir Alex knew it, Van der Sar knew it. He is 20 years old for feck's sake.
His talent can be seen from miles away.
But Gibson hardly gets shots on target.
I thought he was only 6'2 anyway... He just looks tall because he's skinny.Jamie "literally" Redknapp says "I know they say he's 6"4 but he's never been that height in his life" and something about his frame being abnormal for a goalkeeper.
Neuer has hardly been gaff-free since joining Bayern.GK like Neuer / Schmeichel / VDS have a physical presence that De Gea lacks and until he develops that opposition players will try hit him hard.

He looks like Juan Martin Del Petro.
I think it will be different in that regards once we get him to Old Trafford, where there wont be a hostile crowd on the ref's back hoping that he'd let a foul slide on de Gea. If anyone tries that shit at OT the ref is going to have 70,000+ people roaring at him to sort it out.Did you read what I wrote? I said physical presence not gaff free. Strikers would think twice about trying to unsettle him by clattering into him.
Should he be dropped if he's shaky in the next game?

It's the slow, easy ones that trouble de Gea... better off having Carick shooting at him in practice.
Does really need the time to adapt to the PL and learn English to improve his communication to get his confidence up. Got to get it out of his head that he's succeeding VDS.
I never know when you're on a wum these days Livvie... subbing the goalie, you're not serious are you?
His confidence would be totally gone if we had of done that. The only way he will get his confidence back and show what he can do is if the players, management and fans give him the opportunity to do so.
