David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

What the actual feck? :wenger:

btw, remind me again who his frist signing was?

Exactly mate Fellaini, we basically waited 6 weeks to sign Fellaini letting his buy-out clause elapse costing the club millions because Dave didn't want to sign Fellaini first.

And then as Revan says the two for one bids for Fellaini and Baines way under Evertons valuation despite Moyes knowing how much Everton valued them for. But some still believe it was all Woodwards fault and Moyes didn't dither.

Watch and learn, Pep, watch and learn.

It's seems he doesn't know how to use different players except the ones he worked with in the past. Signed Pienaar

Genuinely hope his Sunderland spell is an absolute disaster for him.

Another poster said it after the City game, but he has this aura about him that he thinks he's much better than he actually is. Hate his gormless, twat face.

They've lost one of their first choice center backs, and the other one wants to leave. They don't have a midfield or any backup to Defoe, and they go off and sign Pienaar, who's not even played 45 minutes of first team football last season.

Moyes needs an Adnan miracle to survive this season. Or some transfer activity in the next two weeks.

Considering the state of their squad and Dave's preference for working with players he knows we could probably fleece them for £15m for Jones.

He would be a great sell for us, and a great signing for them.

Not a bad shout.

Has he 'revolutionized' Sunderland by buying a bunch of ipads and color coding transfer targets yet?

I reckon we could sell him the following:

Phil Jones
Marcus Rojo
Ashley Young

and loan him Perreira.

This Sunderland gig might be the only positive Moyes has ever contributed to United.

Agent Mike Phelan at Hull can also have some.

They don't have the money for Jones or Rojo.

They've sold their best central defender for less than 4m, and bought Papy, Mcnair, Love for about 15m. Their owner seems to a big stingy miser, according to their forums.
No way they're paying upwards of 10m for the likes of Jones.

Wouldn't mind loaning out Pereira, too, if he were to get regular football there, mind you.

Managers don't sign the players. They identify targets. That's it. If United dithered over signings before panic buying late in the window that really isn't on Moyes. There's plenty to blame him for at United without attaching the failures of others onto him.

Probably for cesc. But fellaini? The man gave his contract, he knows everything about him (except how to play him)

No way united would dither and dallying if moyes wanted fellaini. He knows exactly how much it takes to get him.

I know a lot of you guys don't like the guy, but he's taken over a club where many players want to leave, their manager moved on during the summer and clearly their owners are not keen to spend.

His signings have been meh, but considering it's Sunderland and considering how much they've spent, would be silly to expect a whole lot more.

They're going down imo. Their biggest signing so far is that Chelsea guy I can't spell is name.

Moyes doing what he does best, it's not his fault though, it's the temperature making the players fatigue, it's not his fault, no blame at his door!!

Davey Moyes. Ultimate 4-4-2 mid table good group of lads great effort hope to do well manager.

Jose here, where he belongs and where he should have been 3 years ago...

Moyes back where he belongs....At the bottom, looking up the stars

The Universe is correcting itself

I wish I never joined redcafe when Moyes was appointed. I bought into the cut from the same cloth as Fergie BS. My username kills me.

He'll make out after this game that keeping Sunderland up will be one of the greatest managerial feats the world will have ever seen (conveniently forgetting about Big Sam last year and the improvements Sunderland made after he was hired).

Even better - he was sacked 2 weeks after you joined.

Currently getting torn a new one by Middlesbrough....

Sacked Man Utd, Sacked R. Sociedad, sacked Sunderland.....surely would be the end for him

To be fair it was probably easy to get carried away. How can you look upon this behemoth of inspiration and avoid getting carried away?

He even got the mouse pad right.

Did the fact we were about 7th not give some sort of indicator he wasn't all he was cracked up to be?
