David Moyes | West Ham in talks with him for managerial job

Eleventh time lucky - a great win by David Moyes, after having been so badly letdown by his players not winning the previous 10 league games.

Shall we start a Moyes hsters go into Meltdown thread :smirk:

Please, it will be somewhere for us to come to vent. I was one of the later ones to turn on him as our manager, but his comments since have made me really hate him, he's a fecking prick.

Great win for Moyes today and an invaluable 3 points, that moves him 1 point ahead of Sunderland who are still on just two points.

Sunderland win and Moyes isn't on the sidelines.

Coincidence? I think not.

Didn't Phelan once say that him and Meulensteen were practically running the club and not Fergie.

Phelan's case is pretty similar to Paul Lambert's at Villa from a couple of seasons ago. Given a new contract after a string of impressive performances and then they went on some terrible run

Phelan got the job based on a weird sequence of results at the start of the season that everyone and their dog knew wouldn't last. And their weird thing is that splurge they went on near the end of the window will probably be rendered almost completely pointless anyway when they get relegated.

Won against Bournemouth and Hull. Victor Anichebe is a football god.

Next week they will get a hammering. Then it will be fun to see how they will play against Leicester home and Swansea away.

Well they're no longer rock bottom. Actually gonna predict a top 15 finish for this season. If they survive, I expect them to break top 10 next season.

Top 10 might be pushing it for next season I think - need another season before that I'd think, possibly another two.
