Day 17: France-Argentina, Uruguay-Portugal.

Ronaldo never scored against the Gódin/Jimenez pairing.

On the other hand I still think Portugal are clear favourites. Like I said on another thread, Uruguay is atrocious on Saturdays, clearly the worst week-day for them. They lost 8 of their last 10 games played on a Saturday. Stats don't lie.

 keep clutching there.

I do hope Portugal win though

I just realized that there are only 3,5m Uruguayans. Amazing amount of talent for such a little country.

Not conceding since 2017 is one thing but how many games have Uruguay played and who against?

Czech Republic, Wales, Uzbekistan (all friendlies), Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Russia (world cup) since they last conceded.

Love how everyone gets excited about a Ronaldo free kick when he's generally shite at them. He must have taken about 5000 in his career and scored about 5

It just does my head in. The pulled up shorts and wide stance. Fecking clown.

At least score it then.

Messi couldn't pull up his shorts like that due to his short and stubby legs.

GOAT confirmed.

Undoubtedly, and historically so. They have two World Cups FFS. Crazy about football they are, I bet every single one of those 3.5m with a pair of testicles has at some point in their life played football.

Critiano's short is why he isn't the GOAT.

It’s just baffling that he doesn’t take those closer ones with the inside of his foot. He literally has a 100% success rate when he uses that technique, 3/3

:) I think it's the build up and the look of determination on his face everytime that gets everyone.
