Because its stupidly unfair on the teams that have to travel and play there considering its probably hotter than hell there today in comparison to somewhere a lot more travel friendly and player friendly like Rome at night for example.
Its one of the main issues which the multi host nations idea, its great in theory but tell me that England/Italy for example having games at "home" is as level a playing field as Wales/Switzerland travelling and playing in Baku.
(Im sure the Welsh fans who were sitting in stupid degree heat for over 2 hours will look back as fondly on the experience tomorrow when they are the same colour as the Welsh jersey).
And if you were asking about why it worked for Ireland in 2016, Italy were though after the second game and were guaranteed group winners, played the second choice team vs us and put zero effort in. Even then Ireland just about managed to win
Yep that's the crux. Squad really isn't that much weaker than what they had in 2016 and probably in a few areas stronger but the key players like Bale and Ramsey were just so much fitter and better in those times it was the key difference compared to now.

Yeah, and it's shit and their fans hate it. The main problem is the location (and the lack of local interest). There were something like 500 fans from either side in a stadium that would have been permitted to hold 30,000+.

Didn't realise this was in Copenhagen so you'd expect a comfortable Danish win if they get an early goal as they're just a stronger team from back to front.

Hes not as bad as he was today normally (which isnt saying much) but he wasnt going to remain balanced and be able to provide any half decent insight on a Welsh game. He literally sounded like a guy watching it down the pub

Schmeichal is one of the best keepers around. Although his mistakes (every keeper makes them) won’t be highlighted as much as higher profile keepers.

I think in the next game Page is going to have to think about how he utilises Roberts. He plays for Swansea as almost a pseudo winger with excellent energy. The way in which he was used at the beginning doesn’t suit him at all.
