Commentators saying that Eriksen is awake and stable now. All points to as good an ending as possible in these circumstances.
If UEFA are desperate to get something to broadcast after all that, give them the most memorably boring spectacle the Euros will have ever seen.
Questions still need to be asked. Players were rattled. An extremely congested season for them
Yeah it will be a team decision whatever they decide to do.I don't think (of course, I don't know), Ericsson wouldn't want that.
Yeah exactly. If the players don't want to play they won't.Pretty sure the decision will taking after consulting with both teams. If the players feel like playing the game will continue.
England cancel media presentation, will the Belgium game go ahead?
The mood to play? Now where do we draw the line? Someone collapses we abandon, but if someone suffers a double fracture broken leg, we are ok to continue?Because both players wouldn't really be in the mood to play immediately after seeing such thing happening in front of them ?
Plenty of matches have continued after players suffering very serious multiple fractures, are they not shaken in those cases?Players are human, they aren’t robots. They’re all going to be shaken from what happened.
That thought crossed my mind but wasn't sure if I should say it. I know of someone who got it and went to give plasma and it showed he had a slight heart problem.Just a question - did he get covid sometime during the club season? If yes, I wonder if that could have had a bearing on what happened today.
That's good, what's your job?Yeah although not to a very high level. Enough for my job.
If this is the case brilliant. No doubt the defib has saved him.
Yes I remember that one. But how did he get through his career without doing medical tests? its not like it is difficult to detect HCM with simple tests. We had the famous case here in Egypt of Mohammed Abd El-Wahab, who died of a sudden heart attack during training. I think he was a case of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
The worst I saw was Marco Simoncelli.I think this was the worst thing I've seen on live television in my life. The way they zoomed in on his face and then the cpr.
Kudos to you and everyone who ever had to go through this. Was just telling my gf: I would never want to be in the situation to perform PCR. Horrible.

Unrelated but I always felt rushing players right after covid, knowing that it can impact the heart and lungs, was absolute madness.Just a question - did he get covid sometime during the club season? If yes, I wonder if that could have had a bearing on what happened today.
They successfully revived him whats the problem? The medics involved did a good job. I'm not going to sit here and slate them they literally saved his life today.

Yeah, must have been horrible to hear the doctors working on him behind them. The teams did well in this situation. Really proud of the Danish players for shielding Eriksen from the cameras as best they could.

Fair enough, deleted.
Just a question - did he get covid sometime during the club season? If yes, I wonder if that could have had a bearing on what happened today.
Every source says he's in stable condition.Because this is a life threatening condition, and not a fracture ? Someone could have died down there.
Of course they did and should be applauded. They successfully revived him whats the problem? The medics involved did a good job. I'm not going to sit here and slate them they literally saved his life today.
Recently found out a close relative has that condition and I'm having a scan next week to see if I have it too. The odd thing is that he had the heart scan because of vision issues, so could have gone his whole life never knowing he had a heart condition if it wasn't for that.We had the famous case here in Egypt of Mohammed Abd El-Wahab, who died of a sudden heart attack during training. I think he was a case of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
