Day 9: Hungary vs France | Portugal vs Germany | Spain vs Poland

I don't think it should. Kante shouldn't have taken that shot - he's basically going for a free hit knowingly he'll have a free kick to fall back on, which isn't right.
How's Kante meant to know what Oliver is thinking though?

Just buy the "hungarian Scholes" and other nationality's Roy Keane and we'll be stocked for years!

Well you can in other sports. That always confuses me in football. You seem to have gotten the advantage purely by having possession of the ball.
The point or advantage is to have a free flowing game that isn’t interrupted by little fouls and to give teams a chance to finish the attacking move they were executing rather than give the opposition the advantage of regrouping.

Exactly that happened. Kante took on a shot from a good position.

Been fairly anonymous

I don't blame him for it. I just dislike the false narrative that Deschamps gets the best out of him but Ole's clueless. Pogba's a really good player but he's not more than that. At some point people had to accept what he is, instead of searching for the pot of gold that will make him as consistent as Denis Irwin.

Can’t understand why they have taken Pogba off, he’s their only creative spark. Was playing okay from what I’d seen.

Tolisso is significantly better than Rabiot.

Watch Giroud scores after Benzema had a bad game.

Griezmann wins a lot of tackles, good shift from him.

Yeah I agree. He's a good player but nothing more.
