If I'm De Gea, I'd be pretty pissed at this whole situation. Your club, puts a £35m price on you, Real one of the richest clubs in the world, renowned for buying big players and spending vast sums of money (that they don't have) claim they won't meet the price. Then at the last second they decide you are worth £29m, so £6m was too much for little Real was it? They wanted him so much, they weren't willing to pay an extra £6m to get this done early and now we have this massive cock up with the paper work. Bravo!
I know a lad who did that at uni once. Would turn an MP3 into a Word document or something, then send it at the deadline, claim it was corrupt when it wouldn't open and then get a couple days longer extension.
