AS with a different report every day.

I remember reports last month that it would be done by 11 June, I think it was. Here we are 2 July.

If, and it's a big if, this rumbles on into August and DDG somehow plays in the CL qualifiers would that rule him out as cup tied in the competition proper if the Real move goes through as a deadline day deal?

They can be cleared by UEFA on exceptional grounds. So yes, Real Madrid would definitely be able to clear him.

So in that scenario, what are the exceptional grounds that you can see definitely clearing him to play for Real having played for us?

So what do people make out of the fact Ajax has started to make a new shortlist of goalkeepers just in case we swoop in for Cillessen? Last year Ajax got fecked because they couldn't replace Blind in time. Mind you, we haven't made contact with Ajax this year.

It's much more than that. Casillas is no longer a viable top level keeper. He has been booed a few times. Navas for all his heroics will never be more than second choice anywhere.

Plus with barca sweeping the titles and looking stronger than ever (even reportedly adding pogba whom Madrid would have wanted) have put Perez under enormous pressure to bring about changes. De gea would have probably appeased the fans a little bit as he is future Spain no.1 and arguably the best keeper that they can get. If they wait one more year they cannot survive the barca onslaught with the existing keepers. They are more desperate than we think

Its funny every time Barca win a La Liga title or a CL or both together, it gets funnier to see Madrid squirm sack managers and claw desperately to try and stop Barca's dominance, but fail brilliantly at it. Ah 2009 they bring in all these players, only for Barca to keep on teaching them more lessons. Signing one of the greatest players in ronaldo still never changed their fortune's much, just goals from ronaldo with little payoff, even when pep left Madrid kept underachieving with the odd European cup and la liga title. Since 2009, they have achieved one la liga title, and one CL.

So he's in Madrid now? Two days and then back for training on Monday

Interview in an airport... I'm having Vidal flash backs. Except I would have read the meaning of his 'Tired...' t-shirt very differently with Vidal.

Get him in on Monday, and get him on MUTV straight away for an interview...

Then watch him squirm...

Pleeeeeeeease, UEFA.

Surely Madrid would have sent a plane or smth to pick him up if there were negotiations?

It only reminded me because they were both in an airport. I didn't mean anything more by it.

He just has to be playing for Real Madrid

Talked to a few Real Madrid fans today who believe that 'the best team in the world' deserves the best keeper. Bunch of cnts

So he just happens to be in Madrid 2 days before he's due back at training, just for a 'rest'. Hmmm.

Isn't the team supposed to meet Monday?

He probably only went to Madrid because he is homeless in Manchester.

Twitter is genius, "YOU BETTER BE GETTING ON A PLANE BACK TO MANCHESTER TO TRAIN YOU PRICK", some real nutcases in there.
