Burn it with fire! Sweet Jesus that's a terrible list! Would you really have some of those players sign for us?! Neuer and Stegen are unobtainable but the only other two in that list who are even remotely good enough are Lloris and Handanovic. Forster and Enyeama?!!! Behave!
Lloris is injured now. Is Forster still injured as well?

So their is a possibility that we might loose De Gea on a free next season? I should not really care how we spend our money, but having one of the best keeper in football going away free next season will be great business for Madrid if De Gea does not extend his contract.

This however is great news for United in the pursuit of a trophy. We are much stronger with De Gea, then any possible replacement we might have gotten this summer that are available. Like Cech for Arsenal, De Gea can singlehandly win us tons of points in the league.

We might also be looking at the standard of goalkeeper who are definitely available at present. Next season there might be more candidates.

Yea, I expanded on that notion through my edit. Next season, their could be better alternative available and maybe some new keepers who had a breakthrough season.

Kiko Casilla is a great keeper and has everything to make the NO.1 jersey his at Real...
These news are great for United as we have a chance to keep our keeper for the next season and who knows what might happen in the future..

This changes nothing tbh, it could just as easily mean that Navas doesn't want to be second choice so this guy will replace him

Casilla signing for Real, LvG dismissing Valdes and Woody's behaviour this transfer window lead me to highly doubt DdG going anywhere this season.

Fair fecks to you if you manage to keep DDG. I had you down for third before the window started to take off, but if you bring in a new forward and keep your keeper... I don't know, first doesn't sound outrageous.

This is a crackpot theory but I feel that DDG was adamant he wanted to leave at the start of the window but with Madrid shooting themselves in the foot by appointing FSW and their poor handling of Casillas and us doing some good business I get the feeling that it's a case of let's see how we do before deciding next year whether to leave or not.

If we can't convince Dave, let's convince Edurne. I've started by adding her to my favourites on Apple Music. Push her on Spotify, Napster, Tidal or whatever you're on. Let's show her we believe in her!!!

If they had no mercy with Iker surely they won't care about sending Navas on loan
But we won't sell for less than what we want, which looks like Madrid are not willing to pay for whatever reason.

I would rather not sell DDG at all now. We are a month away from the CL qualifiers and less than that from the start of the season. Don't want these many changes to the back five with ua surely having a new RB and a new CB already to contend with.

Just make sure you don't actually listen to her shite by accident, though.

I was prepared for blandness and whatnot, but it's actually considerably worse than I had imagined.

I don't know if this was mentioned during these last two days but according to ABC ( http://www.abc.es/realmadrid/notici...s&utm_content=uh-rss&utm_campaign=traffic-rss ) and probably some other journalists Madrid has said to Woodward that 25m€ is the final offer. They will not include Ramos in any operation. The article says that Madrid is a bit upset for the confusing way that Manchester drove this negotiation, firstly asking for Benzema,Bale or Cristiano, later Ramos and now Ramos and Navas. If Manchester wants to negotiate seriously they maybe include Navas(who according to El Confidencial was Van Gaal option last year)

lol tough titties if they're upset at us not gift-wrapping DDG for them.

Ramos or nothing, good on Woodward.

We were obviously on the wind-up and had no intention to sell DDG at any point.

Major news from SSN .So they say. Sky sources have told them that he will not sign a new deal but will stay for a season.

SSN got a 'major development' saying De Gea is going this or next Summer..United are resigned to it

I agree.
I think for DDG moving to Real this Summer would be illogical.
If DDG leaves now, we'd probably need to get Valdes back and Real Madrid would need to get rid of a GK. It would just be messy for everybody concerned.

Earlier in this thread I stated that DDG and Ramos would both be Madrid players this Summer. But now, I believe both players will stay at their existing clubs.

People can't predict what will happen this month. How on Earth are they predicting what will happen next Summer?

Hardly anything new we all expect him to go this summer or next. He's obviously not going to sign a new contract

Yep. Nothing new. Pretty sure he'll be here this season and will leave when his contract expires.

Not going to believe he's staying until the window closes. However, doesn't look likely he'll be going this season - next season for sure. No way can we do a u-turn and give in to Perez. If he has to stay - well played that man Ed Woodward.
