Sure. I come with no agenda since I’m neither English nor Spanish. I will clarify again. People are jumping on every opportunity to diss on De Gea. Which can be a bit harsh but a fair sentiment in absolute.
What bothers me is the relative comparison with Henderson and the declarations that he is ready to become United’s No.1. Which is why I’m posting in this thread. If he is, then he should be judged on the same standards on which De Gea is and mistakes such as today wouldn’t have been acceptable for a United keeper.
The sane opinion is that he should spend some more time proving whether he can become our long term number one. As things stand, the decision whether to replace De Gea with him should be at least a season away.
