That is true for Deportivo as well...

Off home to watch the match in an hour, so might as well get it out of the way now

Good luck Man Utd

Be careful!

What do you think of the orchestra of kids Weastie? You probably know Depor's squad better than anyone on here, I must say that they look to be putting a pretty strong team out tonight. I can see them winning 3-1

:(

Would have been happier with the orchestra if Verón was the conductor. I've not seen their squad list yet so I don't know. But I do not expect us to get battered.

I think we should have more women as managers.

Not their strongest.

Should be like this:

Ricardo

Lynch Roche Blanc O'shea

Fletch Butt Phil Pugh

Diego Giggs

I think...

Its a meaningless game and the last chance to rest players this season, so we're right to play the kids though I'm sure we won't play as many as I'd like. Not sure how Deportivo will approach the game but it does look a strong line-up from them so I'd say we'll lose, but so what. Most of the kids playing though will be in the shop window only, and some of those will only be as substitutes. I hope some of them surprise me and up their game from their reserves standard, particularly Davis and Nardiello and Webber, and I'm particularly curious to see if Kieran gets another chance to show that he just had a bad game and that he's got the mental strength to bounce back from it.

Team News just in:
Ricardo
Lynch Roche Blanc (C) O'Shea Pugh
Fletcher Butt Phil
Giggs Forlan

Ok, Lynch is actually a pretty sound player, nothing spectacular but quite consistent. Pugh is in the shop window and hasn't played left full back before to the best of my knowledge. Roche is going to be in for a torrid time tonight - he's nowhere near this standard, surely this would just lower his value if he gets embarassed and hauled off?

Shame Stewart didn't get a start, he's very deserving of it and I guess Davis/Webber/Nardiello will be subbed on.

Weird, why not play Pugh as left midfielder and go with the usual 4-4-2

Dunno, it is weird, but MUTV thought it was a 5-3-2, but I expect Pugh to get forward a bit, but not to beat his marker as that ain't his game.

I think we'll lose, unfortunatly, 2-0 Deportivo.

Whats this davis chappy like, by the way.

Did great at Swindon apparently, but he's not done great in the reserves since coming back imo, for example, nowhere near as good as Chadwick, which for most of you probably says enough.

5-3-2? Sounds like we're going to sit back and try to hit them on the break.

What concerns me most about the side is the front two, looks decidely blunt to me, and a very unnatural partnership.

I bet we will too.

They can't get AC Milan. I can't see them drawing Barcelona (I'm probably being cyncial here). That would leave us and the winner of the Arsenal group

Seems the Deportivo fans aren't bothered by this game, and nor does their team either. Our kids should be able to express themselves quite well, particularly with what is effectively take me home support.

Bit of Veron and Becks... ;)

Blanc with an excellent challenge..

what a shame we didn't get him a few years ago... surely the most classiest CB, i've ever seen...
