Fun fact: Out of our front 6, 5 have been or are wingers, and the remaining player (Gibson) is usually played out of position on the wing.

Interesting selection as always. Good to see Evans and Evra back in the team. Gibson and Fletcher need to take control of this game. Lets hope that Giggs and Ronaldo form an effective strike partnership as well.

To see if he is good enough for United I would imagine. Fergie seems to have him ahead of Possebon in the pecking order now.

. CheersHe played out wide a fair bit in his first three established seasons with us. I mean not to the degree where you'd say that he was an out and out wide player, but you can't deny that he didn't spend a lot of time on the wing earlier in his career.
Not much of a suprise actually. Gibson is older than Possebon plus he is an International player. He should be quite clearly good enough to start at times. Its up to him to repay the faith shown in him.

Ronaldo played upfront for United plenty of times before and Giggs has played off a striker plenty as well. They will be fine as a striker partnership. Welbeck has been injured since the Spurs game and is only just back fit.
I don't mean to sound like a muppet but does anyone have ap otential / good stream that doesn't require software, stuck at work and last week the lot of you gave me a good one.

Really strange line-up... to be fair five of our front six are established players and the back line looks solid, but I definitely expected a much better team. Hope we won't feck up big time...
Welbeck and Tevez should have started the game. I´m nervous now. I don´t understand this selection but then again I haven´t won many trophies. Having said that I´ll be surprised if we score today. Hopefully this post will embarass me but I doubt it

Actually I did watch the Northern Ireland game, that was good but I've been so used to us playing so many midweek matches that it was strange for us to go 7 days without a match.
Evra and Rafael will help give us plenty of options going forward anyway.

With Rooney almost back what's the point in not playing Tevez. It's a baffler.
The only thing I'm surprised about the team selection is up front, I thought Tevez would have been certain to start. I know Ronaldo has played this role quite often before but I'm just wondering why we're starting the game with no recognised striker, two are on the bench in Tevez and Welbeck. Aw well.......in Fergie we trust
