I'm more concerned with the performance rather than the result. For these kids I just want them to play well GET the basics such as passing,positioning,timing,tackling and dribbling right.

Gibson looks like he fecking owns the place, he plays as if he has been part of the first team for years, Anderson looks composed slowly getting out of the cobwebs, Pique looks the part already,very strong, well positioned and with good timing, Johnny Evans looks good, Martin has the work rate,pace and enthusiasm BUT lacks the physical presence.

The rest just look their normal selves, Fletcher is okay, Bardsley isn't really impressing me, Mickey looks more concerned with defending which is ok as this is his bread & butter, the other Evans hasn't impressed at all and Campbell looks like the English Bellion. PIG is just PIG one moment of comedy value followed by an outstanding save.
 
Evans off for Simpson, got a knock.

Simpson is a player who looks promising, hope he makes the breakthrough. Much better than Bardsley
 
So then it is Anderson as Scholes' long term successor then.

They have nicked the stream off Thai UBC - who have in turn just dubbed their commentators over the MUTV ones... (hence the true logo in the corner, that's a Thai telecommunication company)

and the black kit looks nice.. Very simple and subtle red stitching..

thank feck the away kit is sexy...i dont mind the home one but it's downhill from last seasons..the away kit isn't as nice as the black/red/gold fake that was doing the rounds here, but it's still nice..although i'd of had a subtle gold AIG logo and number on the back, would look loadss better

They have bought Lockwood back on again, they already subbed him earlier??? wierd and not in the rule book
 
Trust me you guys aint missing anything, the game is boring only good thing i saw in 2nd half was the good goal from Gibson.
 
gay... missed the goal... up till it went down, Gibson, Anderson and Simpson had impressed me...
