Fletcher has done alright on the ball, but he's not been winning many balls - especially not the 50 / 50s he usually wins now and again when fully fit. Anderson has been the better of the two defensively, which is something of a testament to his talent.

For me Anderson's had a average game,wish he'd push on more now that we are comfortably in the lead,suprised to see him being the one holding and chasing kiev's attacks.

Kiev have been naive and played into our hands. It SHOULD have been 1-6. Rooney, Tevez and Ronaldo are causing Kiev nightmares.
Anderson has been seriousally class. Tracking back putting in some very important challenges and releasing the ball with such authority and precision to our forwards. I was concerned at the penetration we may have without Scholes in the side, Andersons been top class.
Having said that, Giggs... what a player. SAF should be concerned by the challenges flying in. I'd take Giggs off now and put Nani on... just in case.
