So its Oshea, He is good wherever he plays so its ok

We can opt to put Giggs partnering Anderson or Oshea anytime so everything its sorted
 
We've got the biggest squad in the history of football, yet every single game we play, we struggle to get 11 fit players together

What the feck is going on?

Can't really disagree with your concerns, i suppose how he has risen to the occasion so far means that he and us supporters are sort of riding a wave of confidence in his abilities.

But it will be a further test for him tonight, and the team too in a way. We were at this exact same stage in terms of points and games played before last season's Copenhagan match, that we took a little too easy and suffered from it, mimd you 4-4-2 suggests we will be on the front foot from the off at least [so that should be not so much of an issue here hopefully]. :)

I just cant agree with you.
He just deserved to play today, wheter somone is injured or net, he played great and that's all. There aint no risk (only oshea maybe, he worries me too)
 
That is exactly what Anderson needs, only to play in the first team will help him. He'll have better and worse games, but I'm not afraid we wont get a result because of him. And we still have Tevez, Rooney, Giggs, Ronaldo and Rio in the team. I just dont like the idea of playing O'Shea in the middle

Anderson and O' Shea will do a good job at midfield. I would have preferred Fletcher, as he's more dynamic, but I don't know what his fitness situation is.

Also, glad to see we are playing two strikers for once, with Roo and Tev up front.
 
Lets see whether we have changed our mentality away in europe..... Fergie always prefers to sit back and counter,hopefully that's a thing of the past now...
 
I hate watching us play away in Europe, it's fecking painful stuff it really is. Hope that will change tonight but i doubt it. I've got one eye on the Rangers v Barcelona game
 
This should be a good test for Anderson. Lets not expect too much from him. Remember he is still a kid who is adapting to our style of football.

Unless we're not, and Giggs is playing in the centre with Anderson and O'Shea.

Think the line up's pretty much spot on though. It's just a bit depressing having our first, second, and third choice midfielders all injured at the same time.

On ITV I just saw the team and Fletcher is in the middle and O'shea at left back because Evra sustained an injury in warm-up.

EDIT - Oh am way too slow! The rest of the team is the same though. Anyway my first post in a match-day thread and probably my last. I'm off to watch the match.
 
Evra's injury is hopefully not serious. But we're having some very bad luck, lately. That could really stop now, FFS

Hopefully the evra and scholes injuries arnt too bad might be the weather,this is were our squad will be tested and we see the benefit of the signings.still have confidence we'll be ok.And good to see fletch in the centre.

They just said it's not a serious injury for Evra, but they didnt want to take a risk
 
Great start from the lds..whenever we are positive we make the other team look as ordinary as they are

If we get one and drop off the pace look how kiev suddenly look useful.

Anderson does a lot of running, always making himself available. And isnt lazy at all, does a lot of defensive work
