Eden Hazard | "I am signing for Chelsea"

Given what's happened to players at City in the past two years, I think some players might be worried about playing at City for more than a year or two. Adebayor, Bellamy, Boateng, and others have been frozen out or replaced by new players very quickly. As a young player moving to a new league, if Hazard didn't perform immediately for City he'd likely be replaced or frozen out more quickly than he would at United. He'd be given more chance to develop and play at United, imo. At City, they can just buy over every player and have done so.

Adam Johnson, Robinho, the Tevez fiasco. Dzeko is likely to be frozen out soon too.

United is a much safer bet for young talent.

Sources are telling us that Manchester United have just been informed that Eden Hazards first choice would be a move to #mufc more to follow

Pants down, cocks out?

I'm pretty sure we are his first choice. He'll play regularly, definitely develop (he'll have noted how we developed Ronnie) and we have a very solid foundation. always competing at the top end and have the best track record for winning trophies.

Chelsea have no manager and change the manager more than I change my pants. Very unstable but complete each year at the top end and can pay a little more.

City obviously have the ambition an money to challenge regularly bu until they win a few seasons on the trot they can't legitimately claim to offer regular silverware. They have a poor record for developing young players and tend to buy in rather than develop. Look at Johnson, Milner and a few others whose careers have stalled. City will happily drop a player out of form because they can buy another in form. Manager hasn't been there too long, could go if they have a bad run. Lack of stability IMO.

Basically it all comes down to whether the excess money, and we don't know how much we're talking, can alleviate those concerns. If it can't then he signs for us.

Okay a move like those three, big money like Cristiano.

Happy?

The point is we seem to be a stepping stone to Real Madrid, and for young players motivated by money and glory that is a selling point.

No we dont, that's just nonsense, Ruud and Beckham were not wanted by us anymore if we wanted them to stay they would have stayed.

Not happy at all, we've been a "stepping stone" for one fecking player, a lad from Portugal who unsurprisingly saw Real as the pinnacle considering his upbringing.

RVN & Becks were no longer wanted by SAF, same with Heinze.

Get that into your head and I'll be happy.

The muppets would go crazy if we actually got this guy before the transfer window even begun. What the hell would they do for the rest of the Summer?

Is that a legit BBC account? Looks like it could be a fake name, but if not then I might add it to my following list.

Regardless I doubt that's true, or if it is then it's the agent stirring the pot. Like everyone else here, I'm just along for the ride :)

We need to fecking sign him before we think about selling him!

The posters who claim that he's going to City and Chelsea other than United sound as gimpish as the muppets who sit by their computers 24/7 waiting for Hazard developments and wanking at his pictures. So stop getting on your high horses

Are you one yourself since you are in this thread everyday looking for developments?

Eden's decision not to reveal his move is quite logic, to be honest. Season just ended and he propably want to have some time to say goodbye to Lille folks, rest with the family, charge batteries and then prepare for departure to England.

May propably won't reveal much and same thing can also apply to Shinji's situation.

Good point. I had a look through the accounts followers and as far as I could see, there were no BBC journalists or for that matter any journalists in the list.

Why do you always end your rants with a lol. Do you honestly believe every one of your utterances desrves this? It makes you sound a little deranged to me.

Not every one, but occasionally I like to show I'm still in good humor despite throwing in a couple of expletives to express my shock at how slow some posters really are.

Because they didn't want to stay. Both wanted to leave

SAF himself said something along these lines on the matter: "let's make this clear, we wanted to sell them Beckham & RVN, we did not want to sell Ronaldo but had no choice".

Beckham concurs with this, he was gutted about being sold.

RVN, well it was obvious wasn't it, SAF dropped him in the Cup final in favor of Saha and RVN spat his dummy, SAF doesn't handle dummy spitting so well. RVN did not see us as any stepping stone, simples.

I wonder why Sir Bobby says in his autobiography that Beckham refused a new contract then. And didn't Fergie say Rvn had already asked for a transfer twice?
