Eden Hazard | "I am signing for Chelsea"

Nani and Hazard are the real talent, the two players that can change a game with something special.

Hence why there's equally as much chance that SAF would revert to a 4-3-3 leaving Welbeck and Valencia in a tricky position.

Nani Rooney Hazard

Kagawa

Carrick Another

But basically this whole day has been a day of nonsense. We have no idea if either will come and if they did, as I said earlier, it would effect everyone, not just Nani as you made out.

A whole bunch of players would be fighting for their spots. The most talented would have to shine.

Ok then genius. Enlighten me as to where Hazard would play if we signed Kagawa as well. What's your best starting 11?

What's to say either of them will actually start? If anything it'd be difficult to accomodate both of them in a single game, because both are far more used to 4-3-3 than 4-4-2.

If we went 4-3-3 I would guess something like this

Carrick - Scholes
Valencia - Hazard - Nani
Rooney

but we love to rotate, so you could also do this

Carrick - Scholes
Valencia/Nani - Kagawa- Hazard/Nani
Rooney

For now in 4-4-2 I still think we'd mainly use Nani - Rooney - Welbeck - Valencia, when they've actually all played together they've been excellent (Everton) but those 4 have a tendency to never be fit at the same time, plus you'd be resting them, so you could put Kagawa in for Rooney, Hazard on the left etc.

I also think that SAF will start trying to train Hazard in a 2 man midfield against lesser opposition, he's more than capable of it with his talent, he just needs to 'bulk up' as we all say, and with someone like Carrick beside him we'd be fine.

I don't know why you're talking about Kagawa as if he'd just slot into the team, he'd probably get less games than most of the players above, for a while at least.

Really can't see us spunking £50m unless we're sure they are going to improve the first team.

We buy players that we think will improve the team, I'm sure Hazard at 30m + would be bought for the 1st team, Kagawa is more of a Young type signing, to improve the squad and fight for a place at the top side in England.

Phil Jones didn't improve the first team either.

feck me, can you make one post where you don't spout nonsense?

His arrogance is quite funny really.

It's not even clear what he'd be proven right on seeing as every post he makes contradicts his last one.

Part of me wants this to drag till 31 Aug just to see the madness on here!

There would be mass muppet suicide of it drags on that long. A lot of muppets on the edge already here.

Brilliant how we always outdo over selves. I remember the Teveth thread, then came Ozil and then wesley sneijder and now Hazard. Long live mupperty.

Pft, yeah, where has that been? I hope they don't think that Jones, De Gea and Young count that would be 6 years worth right there!

Maybe it's a brilliant sort of catch 22, Uncle Malc agrees to buy any player in the world, but we have a wage cap of 120,000 or so and thus no player costing more than about 30 million would agree to our maximum wage!

We'll never make a transfer more expensive than Berbatov again!!!

I agree. When it comes to £30m level players, we may be able to bid the fee but it's totally pointless as we won't pay the wages required

£32m for a player that will be outclassed by Jordan Henderson next season. :nervous:

Next season, i believe Jordan Henderson will outclass Eden Hazard, AVB will play Hendo in his fav position where he's very good at CAM. 1/2

'Solethu Feni™ ‏@sollyfeni
Hazard on the other hand doesn't have a clue about the EPL, he musn't think he'll dazzle around defenders here, Hendo has EPL experience 2/2

'Solethu Feni™ ‏@sollyfeni
@eggy_mufc.. I am dead serious, Hendo has EPL experience and is always class when he plays in that CAM position.. EPL experience Vital.

Not sure I want him anymore.

So now shitty cannot offer him the extraordinary silly wages they could offer in the past (or the Chavs) due to concerns about FFP, I'd hope that neutralizes his decision re money to a huge degree.

That levels out the playing field abit and so now factors such as genuine importance to a team, quality of management and infrastructure, prestige and heritage and the amount of games he can expect to play given other players in the squad massively come into play.

I think Chavski and ourselves offer him those factors far for than City can ... and of course we trump Chavski on the quality of our staff (to aide his development) as well of course on prestige.

This player sounds like he is worth fighting for ... and Im sure we are. Personally, as I said a lot earlier in this thread, I think he is perfect for us and would be thrilled beyond limits if he signed for us.

I hope he does, as I think its win win. We provide him a central role in our squad and buid a team that compliments him and Rooney playing in unison, and he has a platform to create a footballing reputation that would be second to none.

For what its worth, all my French footballing fans who only have a passing interest in English PL football are unanimous in saying they'll think a move to Manchester United would be best for him all round.

Lets see ...
