Eden Hazard | "I am signing for Chelsea"

While I'm sure he's going to Chelsea, I can't believe how people think betting Odds have any meaning. We've already seen City and United as clear favourites to sign him. They know nothing more than we know.

Over hyped, over paid, soon to be over here...but if he takes all this time to graciously condescend to join United...get lost...

Sky Sports have Jim White

Only just seen that tweet now. This guy is possibly the biggest bell-end I've ever seen.

Really hope he's going somewhere else. He's a cock.

Chelsea don't deserve him. They only managed 962 posts in Hazard's thread up until now, whereas we are closing in on post 7,500. Clearly we deserve it more based on our persistence.

I know nothing about betting so I might be barking up the wrong tree, but if he has told someone where he is going and that starts a chain of people placing big bets, then wouldn't the bookies shorten the odds?

People bet based on speculation. We were odds on to sign him yesterday. Skybet were offering odds of 1/5 on, and then suspended betting, that we were going to sign Ribery a couple of years back. Then a few weeks later Liverpool were odds on to sign him. Betting odds only represent the market at that particular time. Rumours he's going to Chelsea = flood of bets on Chelsea signing him = shortening of odds = flood of more bets = shortening further of odds/suspension of betting.

I bet Fergie will say some point in the future when asked about Hazard, "we showed an interest in him NAND spoke to his agent but ultimately decided he wasn't the right fit for what we needed." give me Kagawa anyway.

He snubbed United because he wanted Rooney's No.10 shirt but was only offered 7 or 9. Always wanting something higher, what a cnut.
He's No.11 at Chelsea.

We should bid for Juan Mata, if Hazard has been promised the number 10 and regular playing time then surely Mata is being bumped.

Christ, I knew "I've made up my mind" meant "...and I'm not telling you".

If he is flying to London it has to be Chelsea, which leaves Modric without their main suitor, surely. Great, let's get him.

And no mercenary stuff please. Chelsea would clearly be the better "family decision" and probably not offering as much as City so kudos on that.

Now see Big Man shag your lady

Abromovich meddling in the team again then. No manager there to guarentee him anything. If he does goto Chelsea, then it is not soley for the footballing reasons as he suggested.

One day a muppet target will be acquired. One day.

If he wants the number 10 shirt we could always pull a Zamarano:

However, upon Baggio's arrival at the club, Ronaldo was forced to give up number ten, and wear number nine, therefore Zamorano had to give up his number which led to the somewhat bizarre spectacle of his wearing a shirt bearing the number '1+8', making him therefore still technically a number 9 striker

Harry Redknapp is going to depart the airport in his car with Eden Hazard in the passenger seat. He'll get interviewed on his way out, of course.

Some twitter rumours saying we pulled out due to fees to the agents. So if City ruled out, we pulled out, and only Chelsea were left, doesn't make it much of a decision does it

Lot of French journos saying it's a done deal now..

Seems inevitable.

Surprising that City have pulled out if that's the case. Seems they have decided to try to be sensible just for once. Now watch the same City sign Gareth Bale next week for a world record and agent fees

Look, we all knew this was going to happen.

When has United ever been involved in a public "transfer race" and emerged victorious? It's not the way the club does it's business.

To the Shaun Derry-thread!

Seems inevitable now.

Roman must've guaranteed him a starting place & lots of money. I wonder if Hazard considered how Roman's last 2 signings Torres & Shevchenko did when they went to Chelsea.

So Hazard has made his footballing career decision based on how much the club he wants to join that pays to his agent? Either he sincerely cares for his agent well-being, or he's a puppet-like Tevez being manipulated by his agent
