Eden Hazard | "I am signing for Chelsea"

If his decision is based on where we would be played (and how often) then It's between chelsea and city. Considering City are well stocked in the AM department then it's safe to say he'll be at Chelsea when the muppet saga ends.

As many have said, the fact Hazard's announcing his decision himself means it's obviously Chelsea....

thats a good point

He never said he would announce it himself, only that he would say when his decision was made...

It's been said already. united don't work like this thank Christ.

I'm 95% sure he's signing for Chelsea. Everything points that way. And the things that don't point that way can be negated by simply saying "money talks".

Signing Kagawa shouldn't be sniffed at. He'll be a triffic little player.

His next tweet prediction: "Hey guys. Decision is made. I have joined my club. Thanks, bye."

He was on facebook 20 minutes ago?
That mustve been a short training session.

One of his flaws, which might cost him in the PL, is that he's really lazy at training.

He hates to train, which is something his coaches in Belgium and Lille reproached him. Actually he was side-tracked from the Belgium first 11 for a while, because of that. That's about all you can say against him as a footballer

I don't get this. Why do people think he'd get more games at Chelsea or City than United?

According to reports Chelsea have moved ahead of Manchester United in the battle to land Lille star Eden Hazard.

L'Equipe claims Chelsea and United have agreed a €40 million fee with Lille but the Blues are now favourites to land the Belgium international.

It is believed the Londoners have offered a five-year contract compared to United's four-year deal and he is towards a switch to the capital.

It seems Manchester City may be unwilling to meet the player’s wage demands.

@BelgoFoot Het Nieuwsblad says that 'well-informed' source says Hazard going to #cfc

Well thats shit. Then again we were never going to sign both him AND Kagawa now were we?

I guess that means there won't be enough "playing time" for him and someone will be in his "position".

At least I hope we got Kagawa :nervous:

This all has the feeling of a marketing teams plot.

I'm gonna watch Game of Thrones. I fully expect once it's finished to see that he's signing for Chelsea.

Feel sorry for the kid (to an extent!).

He's never said he is 'announcing his own transfer', just purely that he will let everyone know when his decision is made.

He also said this would be after the two friendly matches around June 2nd before he went on holiday.

All this bollocks about timed announcements are purely speculation via typical sports websites or journo guesses on twitter.

Making yourselves dislike someone for doing naff all TBH

Did the Caf exist in 2003 when the Ronaldinho saga was going on!?

Yeah, nowhere near as bad as the latest ones. Only player I was ever a big time muppet for.

It's amazing but pre-WC2002 no one seemed too fussed about him. I guess the membership was different, there were less youtube videos, etc. It was clear at the time SAF was already on to him but after the World Cup it got out of hand :(

its clear city are now thinking about the ffpr. Chelsea will have the edge this summer, they got rid of big earners, won the CL. We're back in the mid noughties again.

He's already joined the distinguished list consisting of Sneijder, Benzema, Ozil, Villa and Sanchez for me.

It's not as good a point as people are making out.

He's not calling a press conference, he's telling us what club he has decided to join.

It's a completely new position for our club to be in anyway, a big star who has agreed terms with us as well as 2 other clubs. It's not exactly been "the United way" since day one but we haven't pulled out at any point up to now so why would it be any different if he said "I want to join United"?

I suggest we start preparing by switching the thread title to

Eden Hazard|Lazy trainer - DO NOT WANT

Club have given him permission to announce via twitter. according to sky

SNN Hazard has spoken to club and informed him he can't do a press conference but is allowed to break the news via Twitter after his training session... which has just finished

SSN has announced the club he is joining has giving him permission to announce it via twitter. Definitely Chelsea then.

SSN: New team says Eden can announce it on twitter.

Bad time for a quick close?
