Must say I kind of cheered when Lovren scored. Its great for football nights like this. . wish United showed this much flair and passion these days.

Klopp has done a good job so far considering he's not brought in any players yet.

They have lower lows than us and higher highs. They are capable of wiping away top teams with exciting football. We aren't at the moment. I have said half a year ago when they were 10 points behind us that they have more about them. One canm see a clear direction where they are going and what they want. We have decided, after two failures of managers, to jus throw money at the biggest name available and hope last season was an anomaly. Let's hope it works out for us.

Bummed Liverpool won, but I would be shocked if we ever managed that under LVG. Shows the difference a manager makes.

Fair play to them. They beat us then Dortmund. I don't begrudge rivals their success, because we should only be worried about ourselves. You know we are shit when we are worried about what Liverpool are doing.

Villareal and Athletic are both through to the semi finals. That make 50% of semi finalists in both cups Spanish. A Spanish side has won the Europa Leauge 4 times in the last 6 seasons and 4 times out of the last 7 in the CL.

Spanish football is a long way ahead of the rest at the moment.

I just hope Woody is watching this..it's his business, he's built it up commercially and it's these kind of nights that reap dividends as a businessman.
 
Good for Liverpool. They won at home and that's the advantage they have at Anfield. That's no mystery.

Now they play away to Bournemouth. It would be stupefying if Liverpool won Europa League and entered Champions League.
 
German mentality has become utter shite in the past few years. Too many bottle jobs from the NT, Bayern and even BVB.

You always know they completely lose it if the opposition scores, even if you were 4:0 up. And mentality was supposed to be one of our biggest strenghts once..
 
Must be great to have a manager with his attitude. You can see he's instilled that in the team. We play 80% of the time with the attitude of an old man sat on his arse making notes.

Get some defenders and they'll be improved. Only a few months ago people were talking about a big rebuild.
 
Seething. fecking hate Dortmund now. Always rooted for them against Bayern... no more. I hope they get trounced to relegation next season. :mad:

What's the deal if Liverpool win this, qualify for CL does 4th even matter now? Isn't there a rule that you can only have 4 teams from a nation.
 
If Dortmund could defend set pieces, this would've been a comfortable victory for them.

Sadly, Lovren and Sakho were made to look like towering behemoths. Lovren was like a man possessed, turning up left wing, right wing, centre forward...

Hope they both get contract extensions. :p
