Europa League 2015/2016

Thank peanuts that's over. Now let's enjoy United & Spurs getting knocked out!

(Spurs will go through)

Who would have thought that Augsburg put in a very good performance tonight while Schalke implodes after the good game in the first leg. At least Leverkusen is through to the next round.

They fully deserve it. We didn't take the competition seriously, so we are deservedly out. But even with a B team we gave a good replica tonight. With Leno in our goal, it would have been alot closer.

Mason puts Spurs ahead. Dortmund make it 1-0 on the night & 3-0 overall.

Aubameyang not United material. :lol::nervous:

I'm sick of him. As I played as Liverpool all the time on Fifa 15, 90% of the time, I ended up playing Borussia Dortmund. "Pierre. Emerick. Aubameyang." is stuck in my damn head.

Definitely going to win the Europa League. This is just our bogey team. We'll wipe the floor with the rest.

LOL. Took the goal away from Aubameyang and gave an own goal to Casillas. Wonder how much money the bookmakers just saved on that decision. Blatter and Platini are banned, but UEFA stil crooked as hell.

Very easy win for Spurs: 3 - 0 on the night ... far easier than I expected against what is supposed to be a good team. Mason and Lamela on the scoresheet + an own goal.

Alli was MotM. He really is shaping up to be one of the very best midfielders in the Prem.

Part of me is kinda glad to see United go through. The competition is definitely more exciting if they're in it - But only if we still are, too!

I mean, come on... That's a pretty awesome selection of teams for the second class competition. There's not a single easy fixture there.

Playing as a number 10 isn't he?

No French clubs left, 1 Italian club left, 2 German and 3 English, 4 Spanish.

Should be some great fixtures in the next round.

If we can avoid all of them I fancy us to progress

Apparently this is the first own goal of Casillas career.

Great performance from Spurs. Definitely one of the favorites for the tournament imo.

We just need to avoid these teams...although Basel and Fenerbahce might be better than us too.

Not enough shocks happened in the last 32, annoying

Probably the biggest surprise is Napoli going out, although Villareal was the expected tough opponent. Schalke absolutely disgraceful against a Donestk, which is a shadow of its former self (especially compared to the team with the Willian-Fernandinho-Mkhitaryan trio a few years back).

We were actually pretty poor today, but cruised the game after the 1-0 with minimal effort (if you can rest your defensive leader and first build up player + the most influential midfielder for the second half you know you are in a comfortable spot).

Pretty high chances to face an English team now, hope it is either United or Pool.

Are teams from the same country still kept apart at this stage?

No you don't want to meet us, we just destroyed Shrewsbury and Midgyland

Klopp vs Dortmund will be good
