I hope we come out to the NWO theme when we next play at old trafford.
I'm really surprised that everyone is holding Bayern in good stead as if they are some footballing holier than thou entity.
This is the same Bayern that gobble up all the young talent from the teams below them and dominate the league year on year and have won the league 8 times in a row since 2013.
Some competitive league that is, no wonder they don't want to jeopardise that and play in a ESL which would take up much more time than a UCL and dampen their chances in the Bundesliga.
This they don´t give a shit about what we think. They probably don't care
Yep. It is literally that. Clubs competing purely based on their name and revenue, no consequences to losing and no meaning to winning it.It's a glorified pre-season competition. It's the Emirates Cup with billions of pounds thrown at it.
Because Nasser Al-Khelaifi is also the chairman of Bein media group which has UCL TV rights, he's on the UEFA executive comitee and Qatar hosts the WC so they don't want to mess with FIFA too much. Lots of reasons.Fair play by Bayern and PSG to turn it down. Wonder why PSG declined.
Here's what I don't get about all this. If the clubs are banking on a large American audience to help fund this it just isn't going to happen. Weekday games are in the middle of the work day and only the dedicated few are going to miss work or keep away from the score so they can watch it on reply. For goodness sakes, TBS/TNT backed out of showing the CL/EL last year because they were losing money. You now need to pay for something called Paramount+ to watch the games. The audience just won't be there.
Wonder if the refs would be biased.

UEFA should expunge the European history of all 12 clubs. All CLs and ELs won will be null and voided or given to other clubs.
That would make giving up your history for greed a new meaning.
I disagree that it's worse than UEFA.
The "solidarity grants" package for domestic competitions is up to 400 million euros. Which is a huge increase to what they currently receive from UEFA.
Whilst I don't really like the competitive part of it, UEFA has made their own bed for this by outgrowing themselves and going from being a controlling, independent organ concerned with the greater good of the game to a corrupt business entity concerned with lining their own pockets above anything.
Only with a 15 point deduction, maybe more.
I only just saw that the super league is chaired by Perez![]()

The Glazers will happily sacrifice the 99 treble for more money.
Wait, they probably don't even know we won the treble in this year anyway.
Good stuff. We need a hard line approach to stop this madness lImagine being a player at one of these clubs and not knowing what’s going on and then reading this. Surely there’s going to be chaos at the clubs involved until all this becomes clear. Can imagine some players are properly kicking off behind the scenes.
This is good news. A Champions League with the likes of Bayern, Porto, Ajax, Napoli, Dortmund, Marseille, Roma, Celtic, Rangers, Benfica, Valencia, Sevilla etc with proper competition and qualification requirements could be more attractive for many than watching the super dull, super greedy clubs playing the same teams over and over again all year for the next 20 years with little/no variation.
Hopefully FIFA/UEFA stick to their guns - if they do, this whole miscalculation could prove ruinous to the American owners of these clubs.
As for the players, yes the financial rewards will be significant, but I'd bet that there will be a significant number of top players who will want to play for the country in a World Cup/Euros/Copa America etc, who will turn their backs on this fiasco.
Uefa were bullied into expanding the CL mainly by the g14 and English clubs. Lets not forget that, that idea was pushed through by some of the same shitty clubs behind this ESL. They wanted to play top European level without earning it and cover their own asses.
The CL got expanded to accommodate them and their greed, or should Uefa have kept it the same size allowed 4 teams from England and denied the Dutch/Russian leagues their chances.
They thought if there was more spots for them they'd never miss out, but they still conspired to feck things up. Then it was again those clubs who demanded a bigger reformed CL (that they could never miss out on as past winners etc...)
Uefa were again gonna crumble and have CL reform where it again expanded and clubs like United could never miss out because of a ranking bonus based on history. You think shit like that was a Uefa idea?
Uefa are rubbish but make no mistake all changes to the CL were g14 powered bullying.
And it still wasn't enough for them when the World Series of Mega SoccerBall came on the horizon.

That's bloody disgraceful. He speaks with forked tongue. Two faced git.Get this c*nt out of Manchester.
I imagine it talks about playing in every competition imaginable apart from non-existent ones. The contract angle will be interestingSadly, I don't think that will work.
The most immediate effect would be to ruin FIFAs and UEFAs own tournaments, while to the breakout clubs it might even be considered beneficial, provided they're reasonably confident they won't lose many really, really top players over it.
Also, I don't see how it can actually be carried out. The players are under contract. How can they refuse to play for their clubs? And if they can't refuse to play for their clubs, how can you punish them for doing so? Is it even legally possible for them to walk away from their contracts? If not, it's not really their choice, is it. And after all, it's not their fault that the Super League was established.
Guy is an absolute fecking tool.Woodward.![]()
What options do the players have in this? Most will I assume chase the money, but for those who feel it is morally wrong, or may just not wamt all the change or worried about International honours are they contractually obliged to do as their employer says?
Probably ought to look into that figure more before saying it's better. Don't let them con you that easily.

What has Bruno said?
Do you think these 12 clubs are the good guys? You actually think UEFA are the good guys in this scenario... My days.
If true. Brilliant move by them. Putting pressure on players. Now to domestic associations. What will they do?
